Reason why I rate this so low is not because of the staff they were very nice however I think their system is messed up.I was told you we get a discount for law enforcement which was 10% and then we were told it could be stacked with a credit card application of I think 15% I'm not sure Cool.I leave to go get the kids lunch My wife is there for an hour trying to figure out what's going on a big cluster with the system She had then split the order so we can get 20% on each order that we had Total was $519 total after the discount it was I think 410 or for 11.. anyway there was still more complications The lady was ringing us up for 3 pairs of the same pants and we asked them to refund that and they could not just refund it or something I'm not sure but they seems like they were unable to do anything beyond the system and we're at a loss at one point the manager blamed my wife for what was going on.Anyway all after what was said and done my wife end up paying 40 bucks more than what was originally posted My wife then pointed to the red register or asked and the manager shrugged and just pointed at the screen at that point she was just frustrated and left So therefore we overpaid by 40 bucks having my son's first real shopping experience a horrible one because of what happened. Hopefully we can get our $40 back somehow I hope someone gets a hold of me for better clarification

I went to the location at Triangle Town Center on 8/6/22 to return two pairs of jeans I bought at that location. When the cashier took my receipt she stated that the system states that the items were already returned (which they clearly were not because I had them ). On the day that I bought the jeans, one pair didn't ring up the sale price and I noticed after I paid. The manager on duty (Cashier: mm7148) corrected the price in a separate transaction (which I have the receipt for as well). Once she corrected the price she gave me the difference which was ten dollars. I showed the store manager Gabe both receipts and told him the reason why the other manager (Cashier: mm7148) corrected the transaction. He told me that she basically refunded the first transaction and only rang up one pair of the jeans on the second transaction. He stated that I was only able to get a refund for one pair and a store credit for the second pair. I am highly upset with being penalized due to something an American eagle’s employee did. I had no knowledge that she refunded the first transaction because I certainly didn't get my money back and I had all of my items. I don't know if she did this in error or if she gave me the products and pocketed the money at the end of her shift. This whole situation got me thinking of all kinds of scenarios. Either way, I don't appreciate being handled in a dismissive manner and I don't appreciate American eagle not owning up to a mistake that was made on THEIR part. My items had the tags attached, I’ve never worn them and I have my receipt. I expected a full refund in the manner in which the original purchase was made. Don't force me to spend my money into your store by offering a store credit for something that you did wrong. For a company who states that they work with integrity and I quote from their website “We keep our promises. We hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards and we do the right thing”. Tell me how the right thing was done in this situation? And how did the STORE MANAGER own accountability for their mistake?

I’m at the store @ 11 and guess what not open. When you tell customers that you open at 11 and it still close. We have a problem, get it together.

I came in for an Christmas exchange and the manager a blonde lady and a young girl with glasses and short black hair were vey nice and the girl at the fitting room even went to get different sizes for me they all were very helpful even though they had a customer who was rude and obviously stealing they stayed professional on 1/16/21

Very nice and knowledgable staff. Most of the tops aren't my style. The jeans and denim shorts are nice. Clothes at full price are expensive. I'd like to wait for sales and shop the clearance racks when able.
