Some of the best customer service I've encountered. Steve was awesome and patient handling all my questions and helped come up with creative solutions for what I was trying to do with my living room setup and aesthetic. Will absolutely be back for any audio purchases.

I ordered a pair of higher end tower speakers and the whole process has been great. Through no fault of the store one of the speakers was damaged in transit and the Audio Advice support team handled everything quickly and professionally. I will absolutely do business with them again for my future home theater needs.

I have been a customer of Audio Advice for more than 10 years. I have always worked with Ivan Halbach in the Raleigh store. He has been outstanding in his support and knowledge always considering my interest, needs and budget. I have never been disappointed in the resulting products. The support services provided by the company has also been excellent. The delivery and set up technicians are always on time and complete the projects in very professional manner. Nothing but praise for Ivan and his coworkers.

The online presence of Audio Advice is rich with information. Not just product offerings, but reviews in depth. My first contact in Chat mode was not helpful, offering products not close to my request. I called Audio Advice and connected to Nick Rich. That is when the fun began. Nick listened patiently to my long history with audio equipment, starting in the '50's with a cheap turntable connected to a portable radio, playing jazz and classical records I got for a buck from the Columbia Record Club.My current aspiration is to enjoy my vinyl, CD and computer sourced music. Nick shared his perspective on the alternatives I was considering and offered products he thought might work for me. I knew it would be expensive. I wanted to match the quality of my great Rega Planar 2 turntable, Bryson amps and Ariel bookcase speakers while accessing current digital sources.Nick suggested a McIntosh integrated amp, Cambridge CD player and Bluesound Streamer to go with a current set of Aeriel bookcase speakers. The quote sat in my inbox for a week while I struggled to rationalize the price.Nick described my selected component set as "stellar." That is the exactly right adjective. I am as close to heaven as I'll get when I listen to the same vinyl recording of Miles Davis and Co. "Kind of Blue" that lit me up me in 1959, having seen and heard Miles in person behind the kiddie protecting chicken wire at the Blackhawk night club in San Francisco. To whatever happened between then and now, I can listen and nod my head to Mile's search in "So What?"Is it worth it? You bet. Thanks Nick and Audio Advice.

They do not answer their calls. We even tried holding payment because they charged us over $700 but the system still didn’t work. All they want is to install new systems and charge a fortune and then not service your system. Beware!

From start to finish, AudioAdvice helped me in an old-fashioned way that has almost vanished. First, Andres spent an hour with me in a quiet room where I could test various speakers with a proposed new Rotel CD player. My collection of classical music had been languishing for some time with a 36-year old dying player. With perfect pitch and the ability to "hear" electronic burglar alarms, some sounds are pure torture. Others can be dull. We tested several CD's (cello, violin, opera, orchestra), until we found just the right Lumina speakers for what we thought might be the available space on my shelves, with the proviso that if there was one more inch of room, the next level up would be even better. (When I checked back at home, there was the extra space, so Andres upgraded the order to the Lumina II's.) The sound is superb!Although we tested the CD player and speakers with one integrated amplifier, I really don't like fiddling with tiny push buttons. No problem! Off we went to see the Marantz Model 30 Integrated Amplifier. Just exactly what I wanted!! At some businesses I may have annoyed the staff. Not at AudioAdvice!The gentlemen who came to install my new components were equally professional. They spent almost two hours carefully setting up my system, sprucing up the wiring connections left from the old speakers, and then testing everything -- including my turntable which I had previously purchased from AudioAdvice -- to be sure that I was completely happy with my new system.From start to finish, everybody at AudioAdvice was very professional and so very pleasant. My second lovely experience with AudioAdvice was just like my first a few years ago. Charlotte NC is lucky to have them!!And I am once again happily listening every day to the music that I have always loved.

I'm totally amazed with the great service I received. Nick drew a picture based on my floorplan where to install speakers, and recommended what type of speakers to use. Totally AWSOME service!!!!! Highly recommend this company and will get back to them to purchase speakers when my new house is ready to move in.

While their products may be excellent, there service for future work on your automation installation is awful. For years we've had a good relationship with the techs that they sent out to service our system. But for the last year or so, their response to service requests has been awful. First of all you're asked to leave a message for service and they say that they'll respond. Good luck! This service was so terrible that I tried calling our tech directly which helped for awhile, but eventually even that stopped working. I'm not even sure that the Gerry person whom you're asked to leave the message with even exists as she/he never called back in response, not even to confirm the time that the tech would come. Their prices are extreme for this service and, when they come but the problem still exists, they want to charge after hours or weekend prices for the problem they didn't solve in the first place. We first used them back around 2009 or so and the service then was excellent and we had an excellent relationship with Sam, our tech, until he was switched to installations. When we had them do a whole house/system update back in 2016 or so, we held back an amount until we were sure everything was working. Bill actually called me to tell me that he wouldn't receive his entire Christmas bonus if we didn't finish paying. We finished the payment, but his actions were well beyond what would normally be acceptable. There are now several other options for this type of system and I'd heartily recommend using someone other that Audio Advice.
