It is exactly as bad as the other reviews would lead you to believe. I booked a car 2 weeks out from my departure date. 30 minutes before my pickup time, get a call from Avis telling me that "they have some bad news, but they don't have a car to fulfill my reservations". Before I could even get a word in, the employee tells me to call another Avis location in the area and transfer my reservation and hangs up. No offer to help, no talk of refund. Now being forced to initiate a chargeback on my credit card to get a refund because the other stores in the area won't honor the reservation.It would really be comical if it wasn't happening to me. It's as bad as everyone says; stay away.

This is the worst experience I’ve had with any rental company. I just got off the phone with an employee named Keemiyah (Kimiyah) idk hope to spell it. You can tell she was unconcerned and unbothered with helping with or even trying to resolve the situation out customer that was otp with her. I’ve been waiting on a phone call back from them for two to three weeks. Amayah had just returned from being out of work and didn’t know what was going on. Once she found it more information from Charles who originally gave me the incorrect information about not being charged ($218) for a battery jump I was charged, then I’m being charged an extra $780 for a rental that I had already complained about having mechanical issues. This franchise should be shut down because their corporate contract doesn’t even reply. I am at the point where I’m going to get legal advice or a lawyer involved because no one is contacting me back via telephone or email I also have my bank investigating this charge because usually I’m charge no more than $343.86 a week because I am a Uber driver and I have also contact the Uber and I will continue to make sure I contact anyone who has rented through this actual franchise I Crabtree Valley Mall To make sure they fill out the necessary reviews because a lot of people do not fill out reviews about their experience at such an unprofessional business such as this. Not to mention they do not notate the accounts for csr to look further into what you’re calling about on that franchise.

This is the worst experience so far I have at Avis, their cars are really bad, have mechanical issues and even they don’t offer other good cars if there was any issue with assigned cars.Going to this location is completely waste of time and money. They deserve Zero stars

I am so furious right now. Had my rental booked for two days now with Uber and when I come to the location the lady says they’re on a wait list ??????? What??? Why not mention that when you reserve the car? How do you not have any cars?? Literally just wasted my time and money coming up here. I’m heated. Don’t use this place and if you do you better call beforehand if they even answer the phone.

It wasn’t the people that was the problem but the location. Located INSIDE the mall with no signage anywhere outside. There’s nothing on their website that instructs you where to go either. I was returning on a Saturday to the friggin busiest mall imaginable. Had to drive around several times which isn’t easy in such a busy spot before I finally called, after being on hold for awhile was instructed to park in front of H&M then call back to have someone inspect the car. Took me 20 minutes to find a parking spot. This is a ridiculous place to have a car rental especially when there’s no directions to its location or specific parking spots for the rental company.

Where do I start. Their cars are very dirty, Stinks really bad, or have some sort of mechanical issues. I do Uber and it's embarrassing. I will not recommend anyone renting from here. The manager is nice and willing to help. Their CARS ARE REALLYYYYYYY BAD. I mean REALLY BAD

They deserve a 0. Worst customer service I have ecer seen. They will not answer the phone. No where to park. Meanwhile an assiciate sits behind a desk eating. They have a sign for help wanted, I hope it is to replace these 2 Ghetto Fabulous employees. Never again will money be spent at this establishment.

extremely pleased to write this review. Mrs. Carla Brodie did an amazing job helping me find a rental car at the very last minute after calling and making serval reservation with other rental places only to cancel because they wouldn’t have any until the very next day. Did a walk in and she helped me pick the car I wanted perfect fit, great on gas! She even got me a great bundle deal cheaper than the other guys I was going to go to with no bundle deal from them. Overall I rate my experience 10/10! Superb service, great customer service, great cars, you cannot go wrong! Don’t forget to ask for Mrs. Carla Brodie. My trip was a success thanks to her.

We reserved our rental this morning! We got our confirmation code and everything. When we get there to pick up our rental, they tell us they don’t have one and it’s nothing they can do. We were also told that they had been calling to let people know but we never got a call. This rental was very much needed and they seemed to not really care one bit! Thank you for our first and last time!!

This is absolutely the best location for the Avis/Budget group in/around Raleigh. The manager Charles and Yaddia are simply genuinely all-around great people that will bend over backwards to make sure that you're taken care of. I don't think I could ask for better customer service during several times when it was critical for me to receive it, as my livelihood was depending on things going smoothly, and they made sure I have been successful even after one of the rental cars was hit (get the insurance, I did).

To start off Avis as a whole is a wonderful Rental company But this particular Location from my experience was The worst and it gets a BIG THUMBS DOWN ? Not sure if it is privately brought and they hold shares but There Mangement Was the Worst! Worst! .. I have rented from there in the past at that particular location and my experience was Amazing But like they say The good ones never Stay long ...? But before I go into Details this will have to be on pause Until I speak to the Boss! That's if he returns my call ? But either way I will finish this review ..To be continued.....

Wow. Booked a car and on arrival was told not only was the car I reserved not available but that they had NO CARS available. Now I’m stranded. When my boyfriend tried to ask for help or alternatives the woman working her laughed in his face. Is this real life?!! Would give negative stars if I could. So disappointed and now I’m going to end up spending hundreds of dollars more booking something last minute and drive all over to find another rental.

They didn’t have my reservation. Not because there weren’t any cars, but because they don’t have “many” cars left. I guess they hold on to a certain amount of cars for walk ins. Maybe it was cheaper online. I wish they’d just charge what they charge and have me a guaranteed reservation. It is 2020 and rental car companies still taking without being able to fill the reservation. Could you imagine a hotel taking a reservation only to say that you don’t have a room when they when you get there? I’m glad I have a car and I don’t have to depend on Avis: I was a frequent Avis renter in Charlotte...these guys here are losers
