I called this morning to see if I could bring my pet in who’s showing signs of sickness. I was told they only do drop offs in the morning and they will call me to let me know when she will be ready to be picked up, that’s it. No idea what care she would receive, nothing. So I asked if she could clarify further as this is new to me, and wondered how I would get updates. She then rudely responded with “I will call you when she is ready. Thats when you’ll hear the update.” Extremely short and impersonal with me for absolutely no reason. Get a morning person with a nice attitude answering calls, since this one clearly can’t handle the task.

I’ve been bringing my babies here for almost 2 years. Love everyone there and especially the docs and techs. They’re very thorough, helpful, and understanding!!!!

This place is a joke. I made an appointment for 12:30 to get my cats ears looked at. She tells me to leave my cat and they can probably get to her around 3:30-4:30. I drove 35 minutes to this location and took the time off work to get my cat looked at. Then they asked if I wanted to come back on Monday. I walked out. They could have called me beforehand. What a waste of time and totally unprofessional! It was my first time here and I won’t ever be back.

I used to have so much faith in Banfield but level of service has gone down tremendously! We always get the paw nails Dremeled when our doggy visits and have been questioning why some were left so long! Well we had them done again and then she was boarding two weeks later. We get a call the first day saying she torn her nail right off and it was due to them being too long! Thank you Banfield for adding a $500 bill on top of boarding for something y’all should have done! And if you’re not going to do something complete, TELL the people you charged full price as to why!They don't even care because the complaint was made and requested to talk to the manager. It’s been a week and still no follow up. Don’t bother calling at this point to say you’re sorry this happened!!

When I walked in the Northridge Banfield I was not acknowledged, the staff member was assisting someone at the counter. Once she finished, she still did not acknowledge me and went to the back for 10 minutes. She returned to the counter to find me still waiting with another lady who had entered while she was in the back. She smiled and acknowledged her and turned reluctantly to me to say “sorry”. She performed the intake and called the nurse.The nurse came to the front and stated that I could not accompany my dog during the assessment due to their COVID policy. I was there for a “consultation” after the vet at Falls Point Banfield had found a polyp. I could respect a COVID policy if I saw evidence of it. However, NO ONE had on a mask. Therefore, I interpreted the COVID policy as poor service and left!

We usually end up waiting around quite a bit, Even with the scheduled appointment. It's typically not a big deal for most people, My dog is reactive and has to come in on medication, still waiting around for 30 to 45 minutes to be seen can be a little tricky. She isn't aggressive, but she was a rescued street dog, so she has some things to work through. The care plan has been very worth it for us though, and the prices are cheaper than some of the other vets we've been to.

This location takes such great care of my dog and cat, they have the most caring people working here and I appreciate the love they give my furry babies every time the go in!

Falls of Neuse-Like most pet owners I've had ups and downs at this vet service. But it's been mostly ups. Turnover is high and that sometimes leads to confusion for my schedule. However, they have always been kind and gentle with my pets. But, the coporate office has absolutely no customer service, no one to answer phones and will not return a callback when you've left your phone number in queue. CORPORATE SUCKS!

If I could give them a zero I would! My dog went in for a neutering and they totally butchered it and it ended up getting infected to the point where he had to get a draining tube! And then when asked to remove his stitches they said they would only do so if they could drug him. He has never shown any aggression he is super sweet. We will not be going to this “vet” anymore.

Have you ever dropped off your car at a dealership and you felt hopeless with endless sales pitches of auto care? Then Benfield is the right place for you! OMG, we've never been sold SO HARD on their "Wellness Plans" and who was going to pay for it as at here. All we wanted is for our dog (family) to get the care that they deserve but ANYTIME that we spoke to anyone here, it was business first. I understand that it is a business, but all the other vets that we've been too ACTUALLY cared about our pets and NOT upselling. We will NOT be coming back here. AND most likely they will respond to this review with... "contact us about your challenges" which will amount to NOTHING. People here must get a commission or compensation on how many "plans" they sell. IF you care about your pet, more than your car, consider taking it to another business, I know that we will.

I’ve been bringing my two pitbulls to Banfield since they were 5 weeks old (currently 2). Carissa and the rest of staff has been beyond amazing to my fur babies. Anytime I have a sudden issue with either of my dogs, they are quick to get them in. They treat my dogs as if they are their own and make them feel so comfortable during their visit.
