I heard that being in retail can be problematic with irate customers and low stock but this location is always prepared.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews as I’ve worked in customer service and know mistakes happen, however upon my visit today I felt the need to leave a review. I paid for my things with cash and when it came to give me my change back I was only given coins and not the 6 dollars worth of cash I was owed back. I kindly brought this to the attention of the girl ringing me up who seemed very confused and offended that I would even suggest there was a mistake. She kept saying how she didn’t do it wrong (I never brought her ability to use the cash register into question, only that I wasn’t given my correct amount of change back). She had 2 other girls come up to resolve the issue by counting the drawer to see if what I was saying was correct. You could tell they weren’t happy to be counting it which I understand, but I wasn’t leaving without my money. One of the two girls had a horrible attitude and at that point I suggested I’d rather just have a refund, she told me she still had to count the drawer which she did and sure enough there was my money. By the end of our interaction she didn’t even give me a full refund only the dollars and I kept my things. It was very apparent to me that they did not believe that I was the one who had been wronged and were basically just waiting to catch me in a lie. The whole situation was one of the worst customer service interactions I’ve ever had and it’s safe to say I will not be returning to this location. To clarify this was the downstairs location.

Went in to pick up an online order and had an issue with it, which was ultimately my fault. Thankfully, the manager and associate (I didn’t catch their names) went above and beyond to help take care of me. Thanks for the great customer service, you really made my day!

Me and my partner visited the downstairs location in crabtree valley mall on Monday afternoon to make some exchanges on a few products that we didn't like. We were assured by a sales associate that we would be able to exchange them, but under the new exchange policy, there were a few differences that we needed to be aware of. We were initially told that if a product was a couple dollars more than the one being exchanged, we would pay the difference, and my partner and I both agreed that made sense, and there was no other clarification by the sales associate. We spent at least 45 minutes going through the store sampling products and deciding which ones we were going to exchange for what we had. When we get to the register, first and foremost, the cashier seemed completely oblivious and was getting confused about which products we were returning when we layed it all out in front of her. The manager, Ursula, a name i find very fitting, came over, helped her out, and asked if we had been made aware of the new return policy, to which we said yes. After ringing up all the items, our total came up to $119 and some change to which my partner and I were taken aback by. We consulted with the manager due to our confusion based on what we were told initially by the sales associate when we arrived about the return policy. Ursula told us very smuggly that she already asked us if we knew the new return policy. My partner and I said we were confused and told her what we had been told by her sales associate when we came in, to which that sales associate chimed in denying her initial explanation of the return policy, trying to save her own butt. I asked Ursula to explain the policy once more, to which she said that the system gives the old product a credit that it deems appropriate based on the series/year of the product, and that the difference to be paid is based on THAT price and the new product price, NOT the price tag on the old product. For instance, if the old product was bought at 22.95, and the system says it's worth $6, and the new product is 24.95, we wouldn't pay a $2 difference, we would pay a $16 difference, which is completely asinine but policy is policy and I'm not going to fuss about it, though if we had been properly informed of this in the beginning, we wouldn't have wasted 45 minutes in the store. I handled this encounter nearly entirely because my partner suffers with severe anxiety, especially in times of confrontation, and as I was trying to gain an understanding during mine and Ursula's discussion, she directed her comments to my partner, to which he simply said, "I'm upset and I'd prefer not to talk right now," to which she's rudely responded with, "I didn't ask you to speak." It took everything in me to keep my composure, because I've been in the service industry for 15 years, and that is not how you speak to a patron of any establishment. I'm appalled that a company would hire a manager who has zero customer service skills, an attitude problem, and maintains an argumentative approach during dialogue with customers leading to tension and heightened anxiety in both parties, rather than calmly and articulately informing her customers of store policies when they are confused. It pains me to say, but until she is dealt with accordingly, we will take our business to the smaller store on the second floor of the mall, where the manager speaks to people with respect and professionalism.

I placed an online order for in store pick up. I never go yo Crabtree mall. So I proceeded upstairs to the store. Walked in, the store smelled great, but I was on a mission of pick up and get out. The two young ladies upstairs were super nice and sent me downstairs to the other location. Why do you have two stores feet apart ?. Got to the downstairs location, walked in and covered my nose. It stinks in this store, but I digress. Walk to the back where I stand at the counter unnoticed for a while. Go look for someone to help me with my online pickup. Another sweet young lady offered to assist. She needed to get a tablet bc the register was locked. So out comes the store manager with her cause now there is a line. I get the manager and I ask what is the difference between the stores. His response is this store is bigger?. I proceeded to tell him the front of the store smells and hr may want yo spray, light a candle or something. He said we all burn the same fragrance oil at the front of the store. I kindly let him know that we upstairs store smells wonderful and his store, not so much. He wanted to go back and forth with attitude, not today sir. Pass my bad so I can get out this stinky store. I will not be revisiting this store. I spend too much money to be handled with attitude. Idc if it is the second biggest store in NC!

Excellent clerks and great environment, great sales. However i wish some of these customers had manners. A tall lady with blonde hair was standing behind me and it freaked me out. I thought she was pickpocketing me! No, her highness was waiting for me to move. Would it kill people to say, "Excuse me."? THEN she shoved her hand in front of my face and I stepped back. She had no mask on. I can tell she was raised by baboons. Was going to snap a photo of her, but she was in and out.

The upstairs Bath and Body Works has horrible customer service. You would think the products in the store belonged to them. The downstairs Bath and Body don’t hassle you over the products or use of the coupons. GO DOWNSTAIRS!!

The floor workers were very gracious with helping me with the items I wanted, however when I got to the register Ursula the manager that rung up my items she was very rude and nasty. 1st she tells me in a rude way “oh you can just leave the items in the basket.” I told her I’ll unload my items to make sure I have everything that matched my coupons, as she’s scanning my items she says in a rude way. “Didn’t you say you had a coupon for a free item give it to me and I’ll scan it.” At this point I’m looking at her like what’s your problem. As she’s scanning everything I noticed she has sores on her hands at I’m looking at it and thinking do I really want this stuff. I go to pay for it and put the money on the counter because I didn’t wanna touch what ever she had. She slams the money on the counter and at that moment I told her to refund me my money. I told her I’ll be contacting corporate and she tells me she was going to as well. I told her for what you are being rude. She said “I thought you didn’t wanna touch me. I said I don’t you have open sores on your hand no gloves on just give me my money another cashier handed me my money. The way Ursula acted shouldn’t be tolerated if you work customer service. You should wear a glove to cover your nasty sores and check your attitude. In this day and age you can’t treat ppl like that. Nasty vile human being. Thanks to corporate I was able to get my free item back on my acct and my %20 discount that she took from me.

The down stairs store was really nice and clean, neatly organized and friendly staff. The upper bath and body works was also nice. The only thing I didn’t like is the sale sign was not specific on which perfumes were and were not on sale.
