I have an older model Compaq desktop computer which abruptly stopped working. I located Buckeye Computer Services from the internet. My call to them was returned in 15 minutes. The tech: Troy Alcorn walked me through a few things over the phone to see if it would respond.
When it didn't, he informed me what the probable cause was (power supply) and began tracking down the necessary part while I was on the phone with him.
A few days later he notified me that the part had arrived, we had already discussed cost. Troy had the computer repaired and up and running within an hour after I dropped it off for him. I have never dealt with such proficiency from any other repair outlet.
Troy had it diagnosed and repaired in record time. Solid communications throughout. Great guy to deal with. I would recommend Buckeye Computer Services to anyone looking for skilled repair work and above all: honesty.

Troy recently diagnosed and replaced a cooling fan on our son's laptop. Work was done promptly and at a very fair price . I have worked with Troy in the past to resolve issues on other computers (both at work and personal) . In each case Troy was responsive and at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend him, as he is very professional and technically proficient.

I have used Buckeye Computer Service twice now. The first time, I dropped my laptop and broke the "bezel" or something that connected the screen to the keyboard. Buckeye Computer Service was able to locate a replacement parts quickly, and when he received the item, he was able to fix my laptop good as new in just a few days. The second time was following the death of my husband. We gathered up all the computer equipment (about 30 years of computer electronics). Buckeye Computer Service picked them up along with an external hard drive and copied all the files he could locate on all the equipment (including a 3" floppy). He also handled disposal of everything except flash/thumb drives, which he returned as I requested. I will contact Buckeye Computer Service for future computer issues.
