Capital Strength & Conditioning is a gym described as the coolest place in Raleigh and a small, welcoming community. The facility is noted as top-notch, well-equipped, spacious, clean, and having plenty of room with all the necessary equipment. The staff and coaches are consistently praised as great, super friendly, talented, professional, knowledgeable, kind, encouraging, and not intimidating. They work with individuals at their current fitness level, from complete beginners to veteran lifters, pushing them to reach personal goals like losing weight, gaining muscle, preventing injury, perfecting form, and hitting personal bests. The training is all-encompassing, covering nutrition, stretching, training, and recovery, providing tools for success outside the gym. Members can choose one-on-one sessions, which build confidence and focus intensely on goals, or small group classes limited to eight people to ensure personal attention. The gym focuses on the big lifts—bench, squat, deadlift, and overhead press—followed by accessory work. The atmosphere is welcoming, motivating, and not intimidating, with a collective commitment to quality, hard work, and growth. The experience is highly recommended for new and experienced lifters alike, with many stating it has changed their lives and that they look forward to every session.
Great space and location — Gym has everything you need but feels personal and intentional. Started training with Coach Ben and he’s fantastic. Knowledgeable and personable he’s helped me stay consistent 💪
