440 Nightclub has club music and drag shows. The cover charge is $20, but NC State Students pay $10. The music is good, but the club is small and warm, with no A/C. There is limited seating and the bathrooms are not well-maintained. The club has expensive drinks and cover charge. Despite this, it provides a space for the latino LGBTQ+ community on Saturday nights, offering something different and unexpected in the city. However, some people find the overall experience terrible due to the high prices, poor ventilation, and inadequate safety measures.
This place is in a revamped mode. They play a variety of Latin/Hispanic music, with occasional rap and pop on Saturday nights. I'm unsure about Friday nights.

$20 and there was no A/C If you're an NC State Student it's $10
Two stars because it's the best club music and drag I've seen in Raleigh. We didn't try any drinks because they robbed us at the entrance and we didn't spend long without A/C in a club anyways.

Went on a Friday night around 11, and there was no wait to get in. A friend paid for our group, but the bouncer still asked two of us for money anyway. The music was good, but the club is pretty small so there isn't really anywhere to sit and relax. It was very warm inside too, so shorts are definitely a must.
