5/5, whether you're here due to an insurance claim or not. This place absolutely will take care of you like no other! We did have an insurance claim, not at fault and through GEICO. Let me tell you everything ran smoothly, but more importantly, they went ABOVE AND BEYOND! We had a new used Palisade, from a dealer. Still had the temporary tags. Chris came out to check on the damage and ended up finding out there was cheap after market work done. The damage was where we were hit and he made it a point to document everything for us for the dealer and also remedied the bad work. Brand spanking new. He called us that the back glass was cheaply stuck in and cracked, he was able to find us the exact part for so cheap, as a local place had it on sale. They also worked with our busy schedule and made it easy to pay the small out of pocket cost and left the keys for us to pick up and drop off the rental after hours. I personally would come here for any damage that occurs to my car at fault or not. Look at the rest of the reviews! Also make sure to seek out Chris, super awesome dude who will go above and beyond! I had such a great experience with Coats Auto Body! From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond. CJ was amazing — extremely professional, friendly, and kept me updated throughout the entire process, which made everything so easy and stress free. The technician did a fantastic job on my car, paying attention to every little detail. It looks brand new again! I really appreciate the care and pride they take in their work. I highly recommend Coats Auto Body to anyone who needs auto body repairs, truly outstanding customer service, and quality work!

Had no idea businesses like this existed anymore. I had minor scrapes on my truck from a person sideswiping my parked truck. Went to Coats for an estimate. CJ checked out my truck, even though it was not a day when they were doing estimates without an appointment. There on the spot he scrubbed the worst part and it looked great. He told me to get some touch up paint and come back and he would apply it. I took the paint to him and he worked on the truck around 30 minutes. Truck looked great and when I asked how much he said NOTHING!!!! The whole staff that I interacted with were awesome. I am still astounded. Make Coats your first and only stop for body work.

Just stopped in with a couple of questions about a minor scratch and reading the sign “seen by appointments “which I didn’t have. The staff were very helpful and even though no appointment they still took care of my concerns. They answered all my questions and offered some I didn’t realize. The staff treated me with professionalism and really bent over backwards to win over future business.
Great customer service wins every time.

I can not even express how happy I was. Costs has amazing customer service. I really liked getting text updates on my car. I also had the nice surprise of the car being detailed. The interior has never been that clean. I 100% would recommend Coats.

Recently, my daughter's car had to be repaired and the insurance company recommended Coats Auto Body to perform the repairs. I do not live in the Raleigh area so I did a Google search on them and found the reviews to be outstanding, which make me feel more at ease with them repairing my daughter's Camry.
From the beginning, Coats was very professional, courteous, and keep me informed on the progress of the repairs several times during the week they had the vehicle. I was very impressed with their excellent customer service, frequency of communication, attention to detail, and the quality of the work performed.
If you are ever in need of having body work for your vehicle, you will be very please with the experience at Coats Auto Body. I highly recommend them!

My experience with Coates auto body was unlike any other. I got in a wreck right down the street from the shop, they took my truck in and what felt like me also the moment they saw me in need of auto body shop. They've done an incredible job, and I would recommend them any day out of the week.
