This is the primary grocery store for the yopros of downtown Raleigh, and it is almost always pretty crowded with young healthy good looking people. It has quality products better than food lion and cheaper than Whole Foods or Lowe's. The renovations are nearing completion and the inside layout does make more sense. That being said the parking lot is still a nightmare.

This place has been chaos for months and they just don't care. When you ask someone where something is (today), they just shrug and smile. They have no idea. It took three people to find saran wrap. Also, there are no cold cuts at this location. You read that right. No ham, no turkey, no salami, no bologna. When I asked someone where the cold cut section moved to, they said they took it down because there wasn't enough room. This is a supermarket that doesn't sell cold cuts. They just deleted an entire category of groceries. When I told the manager they should consider putting signs in aisles where certain foods used to be, indicating where they are now, she literally laughed in my face. I've given tens of thousands of dollars to this store and I do not appreciate the way they treat their customers. I'd sooner buy my groceries at a gas station than ever go here again.

Snack time, I stopped in to this Teeter for some things to have in the hotel room. As I have come to expect from the Harris Teeter chain, the store is brightly lit and well stocked. They are doing some construction and remodeling right now (August 2019) so it's not perfect but the store is still completely functional. Produce, deli, frozen, fresh meats, seafood and dairy. All perfectly stocked with prices clearly displayed. They're a bit more expensive than others because it's a better shopping experience. The parking lot could use a redesign but with the road where it is, they're kind of stuck. Just keep an eye out for the idiots cutting through and not watching. [Review 11633 overall, 1414 of 2019.]

This credit union offers low rates and high fees. In addition, it is very slow to complete external money transfers both into and out of your account, which means you don't have access to those funds until the transaction completes. While transfers between my other financial institutions take two days to finalize, it can take four or more days for Coastal to complete a transaction. And to think of how many IBM programmers used to work on the code that makes this happen. Sad... And while I'm here, I'll critique the way they have eliminated so many real, human tellers in the branch offices. Way to dehumanize jobs, Coastal...

I never enjoy going to this Harris Teeter; the parking lot is always chaotic (unless you go in the dead of night), their produce always looks like it's a day before it goes bad, the exact same stuff is double the price than Food Lion (or even Kroger when it was around, why get rid of Kroger and keep HT?), and half the employees blatantly don't care about their job. I once asked a cashier if they were having a good day, they responded aggressively with why?! do I look like I'm having a bad day?! (Never caught her name but now I don't make small talk) Last night my husband went and when he came home he realized they bagged his soda bottles and never put them in his cart. He said the cashiers were busy talking to each other and partially paying attention to bagging. Harris Teeter is the worst, go to Food Lion. Better yet, bring back Kroger.

Been coming here since 2011... used to be my go to but today will be the last straw. All I see is wasted money as I pass by. The final two straws were an employee bumping into me as I was walking out hands full who not only did not apologize but then began to stare me down. Manager was there the whole time and pretended as if he didn't see anything until I told him yeh that's your employee.?!!! Second straw is Apple Pay it's 2019, the local gas station has Apple Pay. Not only that bc I get it but no other way to type in a card? But all that I can ignore for local grocery store but the biggest thing is the worst customer service around. Wasn't always that way but is now. They act as if they don't need my business and I understand but don't behave in that manner. I've never enjoyed the misery of associates especially at a location that I've spent My hard earned money. The Big New Publix will be opening soon and not soon enough. If you guys think you're losing business now just wait until they open. I've only heard great things and will be moving my money elsewhere.

Great selection of groceries to choose from. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Would recommend this store to anyone.

Although this isn't the newest or most aesthetically pleasing Harris Teeter i've been to, it is probably one of the most friendly ones. Whenever I go by a staff person i'm always greeted with a smile and sometimes even offered assistance with finding things. The aisles are kept pretty clean, and the store is kept stocked and organized. Plenty of choices in every section. I typically go early in the morning, so I don't have any issues with parking or lines. The produce, although acceptable, doesn't seem to be up to the same standard as other Harris Teeter locations I've been to. Overall however, i'm happy to visit this store.

Produce quality is hit and miss. On a number of occasions I have been surprised that things have been left on the shelves, e.g., recently there were about 20 hot house cucumbers out and every one was yellow and soft to the touch (it was as though they had been frozen). Even more frustrating is the staff; they give the impression that they hate working there and are taking it out on the customers. When Wegmans and Publix open they might as well shutter this place.

Go to buy produce and there's rotten fruit and vegetables mixed in with the good produce, if there is any. I've never seen such bad produce on such a regular basis that we had to stop buying from this store. It don't know why there's rotten produce and they're often just flat out of alot of produce.

This grocery store is the worst. I went there to get some things because it was close to my location. Decided to get a salad why did i do that, went to the salad bar and flies were alive in the fruit and several other items on the salad bar, so i informed the nearest employee and left to return later hoping the bar would be cleaned and restocked, wrong came back 2 hrs later and the flies were still there, i noticed two employees were nearby I informed them that there were live flies on the food they told me to tell the gentleman named Bob who was standing near the salad bar and when I did he responded "Good"..... I was shocked by his don't care demeanor and the fact they allowed the salad bar to be left open with visible flies crawling in the food and they expected people to buy this stuff and pay 6.99 a lb.... Ewwww... The customer service sucks, the employees seem like they just there for a check. And Harris Teeter promotes their company like it is the best of the best.... Wrong.....

I love Harris Teeter, it's the only grocery store I shop at. Although I love it, the parking at the Cameron Village store is a headache majority of the time. This morning, I was wondering why so many cars were circling around since inside the store seemed fairly empty. Then, I observed 3 different groups of people park and walk from the Harris Teeter parking lot over to Tupelo Honey. So, that's why the parking lot is always so crowded. People are parking here to go other places. Harris Teeter can you please try to do something about this. Weeks later and still seeing the same issue. At Harris Teeter again today and seeing several groups of people parking in HT parking lot and walking over to Tupelo Honey

Harris Teeter is owned by Kroger, the largest grocery chain in the US, and this store is unremarkable. The selection, cleanliness, and prices are middling. Service is slow. They regrettably require a very invasive and creepy "VIC" loyalty card to get the best prices and have your purchase analyzed, yet it does not appear the grocery store is any better than the competition as a result.

Really good Harris Teeter in the Cameron Station section of Raleigh. Large and lots of variety. The store is also very clean. Check out was fast and efficient and all of the employees were very friendly.
