I love Costco for prices, and most of their service, but the loss-prevention-line to leave the store is ridiculous, redundant, and offensive. "We don't really trust you...so we have to count your items," is the message it sends just moments after they just checked you out. I just walked away from the cashier 50 yard ago, and you have cameras. We also paid a membership to get in there. That is the only negative of the Costco experience, but that negative feeling is what you walk away with. I wish I could change that process for them. It can often be a long and slow line and many of us have placed to go. They often touch your stuff too, some of us don't want your hands on our groceries, knowing you touched everyone else's stuff too. Have the loss prevention people watching from cameras in the back, or put the checkout closer to the door, or just do away with it. The membership entry alone is enough to prevent much of the theft more common at other stores.

This was our first visit to this location and we can not say enough wonderful things! We were immediately greeted by 2 employees in the electronic area with unbelievable knowledge about their products! We wish we could remember the young man’s name that approached us first, he and Brittani had excellent customer service skills! You just do not find that any where any more! Thank you Costco for hiring such excellent folks! Oh & may we add, they even have someone at their exit door to assist you with loading your merchandise in the pouring rain! Five star Costco!

Once I went to US Air force base. It was true military base with helicopters and bombers, and you know…they checked me only two times- entrance and exit…and this is two times less than in Costco!!!Every time I go to Costco now I feel like I buy yogurts for my son in the Pentagon.I’m looking forward to see another check point at the Costco parking lot.Seriously…it’s really annoying!!!!!Every time I see how people get angry at the employees before cashiers who checks photos in the card!BTW I have absolutely no complaints about employees, I do understand that they just do what they get paid for.

We have been shopping at this costco for months now. The location deserves 3 stars, the employees get 5 stars, but the products overall are one star. We got ground bison tonight and it is gross. The ground bison does not taste like bison and has the texture of pate'. I just don't think a costco membership is worth it, and our family will not get it again.

Need more variety. We prefer frozen veggies but there were only mixed, medley, and green beans. It does help for us to shop here for some things because of the amount of people but def need just a little more variety.

One of the most orderly and spotless stores. They have a wide range of high-quality products at fair prices, in my opinion. Additionally, they sell Indian goods including paneer, royal basmati rice, and desi ghee.

The customer service here is excellent. Jessica and Emily were especially helpful to me at the Membership Desk. I really appreciate their patience and professionalism. Thank you so much. They were able to quickly resolve an issue I was having. The kindness and understanding they showed made things go quickly and smoothly.

Worst experience as a Costco executive member , I just moved out here from NJ and I have never experienced racial bias and discrimination at a Costco until this location (the incident is on video) Tried to discuss this with the store manager Doug - no help, called corporate spoke to Eric (another manager) about the racial discrimination from their supervisor Alex, still no help! This is the worst location, but no worries they will be hearing from my lawyers. Just came here to say - if you’re a person of color shopping here be careful, this incident could’ve ended badly.

People always told us it is took expensive. Wow they were wrong. My wife absolutely loves the Costco on 401 in garner. She is like a little kid in a toy store when I ask her to go to Costco. The staff is so friendly and willing to help. By far customers service is the key to the success they have.

First visit to this Costco in Garner. It is huge and did not feel crowded. Associates very helpful and took the time to walk us to the item we were looking for. However I felt their ready made meals section was not as large as others. I wish that section would offer an option for a smaller quantity for smaller households. Checkout was speedy!

Best Costco in town! Not only is it the biggest in the Triangle, they are always super well stocked and have some great deals and keep selection rotating. Eyeglass center is super nice and helpful too. Always quick moving lines.

I went to Costco pretty much every week when I was in the area. This particular one has a great selection of items and super friendly staff. The food court is also great with the hot dogs being the best Costco hot dogs I've had in any Costco.

Cheaper membership else where, with better customer service. Less hassle and similar products. I don’t understand why, if I’m with the person shopping why we go to check out and the other person can’t pay especially when we live together? it’s my membership that I already paid forward, for to now have all these restrictions. Though it’s technically bring business to their store, money that might not be spent, b/c it’s not like they make really money off the memberships. A memberships that is is now increased to 160 dollars to have this be an issue.

Amazing customer service. I was looking for a hot item, call this location to check availability before making the long drive to Garner. I was lucky enough to speak with Robin and she went above and beyond to not only confirm .. no availability at this location, but also went further to search for me next shipments. She was kindly enough to call me back to inform me of shipment date at another location. What a kind person! Thank you Ms. Robin! I appreciate you very much!
