United bank is everything a bank should be. Chris Powell and his staff are professional, kind, and are located in the North Hills area that provided easy in and out accessibility.Everyone there is so welcoming and they really make you feel like an important person. You just don’t get that kind of personal touch when banking with large national banks. I appreciate all the staff and look forward to many years banking with United Bank.

As a business banking client we have had a very supportive experience. Excellent rates, and fast support. Our thanks to the staff of First South (now Crescom Bank). The only reason I didn't award 4 stars is that the website / online banking during the changeover was ...a challenge.

This particular branch sucks! The tellers were nice but the manager (slim tall lady)or whatever her position was along with another bald guy that works there on one of the offices were useless, careless and rude. As soon as I walked in the bald guy looked at me and didn't even acknowledge me or anything, kept walking towards the tellers and they smiled even though they each had a customer. The slim lady was just there standing like a statue then she left to her office and I followed her to ask if she could help me close one of my accounts and she answered me with “you have to go to the branch where you first opened your accountâ€. I'm like wth I've always been told you can cancel your account at any of their banks so I just grabbed my stuff and left.

This bank is clearly a "start-up". Two stars because the people I have spoken with have been pleasant. Our mortgage was sold to First South, so we did not have a choice. Our payment with additional principal was applied as double interest, double escrow, and the remainder as principal. While I'm told it will be corrected, it is unsettling that the bank paid itself twice (doubled interest) rather than apply excess to principal. I cannot login to see if the problem has been corrected, as my login information suddenly will not work and I have been locked out. Now I must call the bank during business hours to reestablish my connection. No online bill pay , so basically the only thing I can use the website for is to see/print a statement (then write a check, stamp an envelope and drop in the mailbox). There is no address anywhere on the site or online statement! I had to send a message and wait for a reply as to where to remit the payment. We are moving our mortgage.

Called several times during our inclement weather situation to see if they were open but no answer or voice message. It would be helpful if this bank had a voice service that tells you if they are open, office hours, location, directions, etc. When you call their listed number the phone just rings and rings with no type of voice message at all. Very unusual for a business especially a bank.
