Chose it originally because the facility is convenient to my house. They provided secure, temperature-controlled storage for goods while our house was being renovated. Staff is very pleasant. For limited time storage, it was a very good option for us.

Moving from one apartment to another and needed two different sized spaces - one for short term and another, longer term. Jason found these two close together to save me steps going back and forth.
His eight+ years of service in this business are apparent to anyone who deals with him. He even knows his neighbors by first name and watches carefully what they are about in case there was a problem nearby.
Others have commented on the cleanliness of this facility and I agree that it’s tops.

The Sunrise Avenue facility is the cleanest and best organized self-storage facility I have ever used, by quite a considerable margin. That is directly and completely due to its manager, Jason Hassell, who is friendly, helpful, informative, attentive and looks after the site incredibly well. I have used enough of this company’s other facilities to know that what I experienced at Sunrise Ave. was not the result of excellent corporate policies or consistent practices (other sites had disappearing carts, doors broken for months, and were dirty). My only across-the-board complaint with the chain is how frequently they increase their prices and how high they are. Even Jason can’t stop that, that is decided above him by people who seem to care a lot less about customer service and satisfaction than he does.

The staff from the start are helpful and personable. They are clear and honest about the features of the unit and the location. This one is so clean and new. The climate inside is perfect. Good lighting in the halls, but the units are a bit darker than I would like.
The halls are immaculately clean. I have no reservations about my items. The office was clearly able to see my comings and goings which makes me feel safe and secure. And I like that everyone gets their own personal code to enter, so it’s always clear who’s inside. I’m glad I found this location!

Fantastic Experience! My husband and I are moving to Raleigh in December, but needed a short term storage option until we could move in. This place was recommended and we wouldn't have been more pleased. Jason was so easy to work with and we were in and out in no time with a new unit, insurance, a lock and details of where to find the best donuts, lol. Highly recommend.

Best customer service I think I've had anywhere. The unit is run very well and I was always remembered and taken care of well anytime I needed anything. The pricing was also fair and I never had any issues with anything. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a storage facility in Raleigh!

I’ve definitely had a pleasant experience with Extra Space Storage. I made a friend, the gentleman that runs the office was extremely helpful, walked me through the process & offered ice pops!!! I would love to see him get promoted! I’m proud of my friend!!! He’s definitely sunshine on a rainy day!!! I highly recommend the sunrise location for anyone’s next big move! Don’t forget to check out my guy with the ice pops! ?

I can not recommend Extra Space Storage enough, 10 stars. This is one of the best companies to store your items within Raleigh. Great staff (Shout out Jason!), excellent facilities, and competitive pricing.
They are constantly working to improve things for customers, like the addition of carts with a built-in stopper, daily checks on your unit (Which they do. We had ours locked wrong once, and they told us immediately the next day), and super excellent customer service (so much so that each location knows one another on a personal level!)
I'm sad to be moving our things out, but I'm ecstatic that there's another extra storage space near our new home. I'm 100% going to use it!
