This was my third trip to this CVS to pick up a prescription after receiving 2 texts confirmations saying it was being filled. The most recent message read: “Prescription being filled. Please bring insurance when you come to pick up.” I did exactly that—only to be told again that nothing was available.
When I asked for clarification, the pharmacist said, “It looks like we had some until 1:30 PM, but then ran out.” So let me get this straight: someone else received the medication that I was notified about at 9:17 AM—four hours before I arrived? Yesterday, that same pharmacy tech told me they were completely out of stock. So, did a shipment magically arrive before 9:17 AM this morning? Or is this just another breakdown in communication and process? This is the second time this has happened.
The late-shift pharmacy tech (Black male, bald, soft-spoken) was inefficient and lacked basic customer service. It seemed like he was either new or poorly trained. Even the pharmacist had to step in when another customer—who had just spoken to him—was left waiting and ignored. The entire pharmacy experience was disorganized and frustrating.
If you’re looking for a better experience, the Glenwood location is slightly more reliable. But honestly, it might be time to ditch CVS altogether and support local pharmacies instead. CVS has had the money, time, and feedback to fix these issues for years—and yet, the same problems persist.
I also posted this review under my main account simply because people need to know what to expect before choosing this location.

Visited on 7/11/2025: This was my third trip to this CVS to pick up a prescription that I kept getting text confirmations for—but once again, they claimed nothing was available. This has happened multiple times, and I'm clearly not the only one experiencing this issue.
The late-shift pharmacy tech (Black male, bald, soft-spoken) lacked efficiency and basic customer service. It seemed like he was new or poorly trained. Even the pharmacist had to step in because a customer he had just spoken to was left waiting unattended. The whole pharmacy operation is just disorganized.
If you need a more reliable option, the Glenwood location is slightly better. But honestly, it might be time to support local pharmacies instead. CVS has had decades and deep financial resources to fix these recurring problems—and yet here we are, still dealing with the same chaos.

This CVS has had the same staff(both front and pharmacy)since they opened. Whatever this manager is doing is working. The others should learn from them. So sick of the excuses he is new and didn't know.

I just had the worst experience ever trying to get a prescription filled! This review is especially for Lilily in the pharmacy! Rude slammed the window in my face when I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager, attempted to lie to the manager about what was going on when I had someone on the phone the whole time listening, putting herself in my private conversation rolling her eyes! They lied and said they was out of stock of my meds I get there and they tell me oh we can give you a few days worth then you have to wait! But I thought you was completely out of stock! I will not be going back to this pharmacy ever!

EDIT: Less than 24 hours later I started puking now I’m in bed with full body pains and a splitting headache. I blame the pharmacist for this. Please deal with this
Having your lead pharmacist on shift while she is coughing her lungs out every 45 seconds is just not okay. She handled and filled at least 15 prescriptions while I waited in line and consistently coughed every minute or so and would continuously pull down her mask to drink water and not wash her hands after. If she has a legitimate illness or covid, that could easily cause a superspreader event. Incredibly unsanitary and worrisome, and it was just really disgusting to sit there and hear that for 20 minutes.
I went to the front before leaving and asked the cashier who the manager was tonight. She looked around and kinda laughed and said “me I guess” and I told her the situation and she said “ok I’ll tell somebody” obviously not caring. Definitely not coming back

It was my first time in their store because I haven't provided time and I was able to find items that I needed and the customer service on the floor was nice. I wasn't followed around the store. And be a racially profile, so that was a great plus because usually you always hear bad stories about people who racially profile people when they walked in the store. But they did not do that to me. So I appreciate their great customer service.

Truly worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Clueless people. Texts that they’re ready then travel to pick them up and told another hour. Absolute trash.

I have used this CVS for several years now, and I will say that they are one of the better locations to get medication. They are 24/7 aside from their lunch break, and I have placed a medication order late at night (when realizing that I am out), and had it filled by morning.
My one compliant is about their customer service over the phone. I had to call in a refill due to my prescription not showing correctly on the online refill section. I waited for over 25 minutes. This isn't their fault I understand that they are busy; however, the person I talked to was incredibly short with me, and ended the call abruptly when they felt they had addressed my situation. They did not ask if I had any other questions, and if I had, I would have had to wait another 25 minutes to speak to someone. I don't expect anyone to be perfect, but I try my best to be kind, and I left that call feeling anxious and horrible, wondering what I did wrong.
Summary of my experience: I would highly recommend filling your medications online, and only speaking to the people when in person, they are always very kind and helpful when on location.

Do not get prescriptions filled here. My dentist sent a prescription here for me and they told me to come back in one hour. I came back after two hours and I had to wait in line for 15 minutes and once I got to the front of the line they told me that they still did not have it ready and it would be another half an hour wait. I then try again a third time and they still didn’t have it ready for me so moral of the story you will not get your prescriptions filled here even if your doctor orders them ASAP. I needed my pain medications for a serious ulcer and was unable to get them.

The worst pharmacy. I’ve waited over 25 minutes over 4 times on the phone waiting for someone to answer at the pharmacy just to end up hanging up because of the wait time. Highly recommend switching to the Walgreens about 3 miles away.

If it were possible, i'd give 0 stars. The tech at the wind was rude and dismissive. Dropped off a prescription and was asked to return in 20 minutes. Which I did. The cat on from of the way the window was parked there for 25 minutes!!!!. This place has the worst country service ever!!!
