Went in for a pair of Timberland boots. There weren't any prices on anything. None of the boots had a price tag. Felt like a car dealership. You won't know what the price is until you get the register. Not going to waste my time trying on boots if I don't even know if they are in my price range.

Thank you to the staff at the Sumner boulevard, Glenwood avenue and Brier Creek locations for helping me find multiple pieces of snow gear for my twin girls. All of you went over and above and beyond to help me on the phone and hold items for me until I could get there and you are so courteous and kind on the phone and did not hesitate to help me. Thank you. I wish there were more people like you in retail

I frequent this place and usually have a good experience but today's was a "never coming back again" experience.
I saw some shoes I liked on the app (that showed in stock in the store) that appeared to be on sale but when added to the cart there was no discount. So I went to the store and asked an employee in the shoe section and he said he wasn't sure but to go to the cash register and she can match the advertised price.
I go to the cashier and she tells me that the discount applies to certain colors and certain sizes. So I tell her I don't care about color, so asked her to tell me which color had the discount. She tells me she can't and that I have to select the specific color and specific size to see the price. So I proceed to check every color in my size to find the sale. None were on sale. So I take the time to check every size under every color. None were on sale. She said the shoes on sale might be out of stock (note: I'm looking at store and online inventory). So basically no available shoe is on sale, however they advertise them as being on sale.
I left without the shoes, I'll just find an online store that has them on sale.
And people wonder why brick and mortar stores are failing...
I'm no IT genius but it should be easy to program the system to remove the sale price if none of the available shoes are on sale.
So this negative review is for the store for not handling the situation appropriately and Dicks in general for not having an efficient online experience.

They need to work on customer service, one of the workers went out her way not to speak to me. It should of been can I help you with something etc.
