Not sure what’s going on in North Carolina… I’m from out of state and thought I could enjoy some Black Friday sales in 2025 at this Golf Galaxy location. Unfortunately, the experience was just the opposite of welcoming. The staff seemed more interested in hovering around and watching me than actually helping. They were re-neatening clothes that were already in perfect order and scanning the same items over and over right next to me. It was really obvious and off-putting. Not that it should make a difference, but I was actually wearing a Bad Birdie polo I’d bought in another state just last week, which should’ve signaled that I’m familiar with the store apparel and likely to buy something. Surprisingly, even that didn’t deter these guys from acting this way. In the end, I decided to buy nothing at all. Considering returning everything I bought there last week and repurchasing the same items elsewhere or online.

This is the third time I’ve tried to give this location a try. Not only is the selection limited but store manager with Afro will appear wherever you may be in store if you don’t look the liking and ask several times if you need anything while straightening unnecessary items. Meanwhile others are making rounds to “Eye”-sist you as well.
Will not be returning.

Where to start. Purchase a hybrid bike end of August. Wheel fell completely off while hauling on 9/1.. Brought bike into Dick’s. They said they would replace. Well, it’s 10/2 and I still haven’t got the bike back with no ETA. Called a few times. This last time spoke to GM, he was pretty worthless. Said there was nothing he could do and refused to give me the district GM contact info or the regional GM contact info. Which tells me he has something to hide. So time to find out exactly what. Going to put a call/email into Dicks corporate to retrieve the contact info for the regional GM. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson, never buy a bike from Dicks. Or anything else for that matter. They obviously don’t stand behind the products they sell.

If you’re a man and need shoes, this isn’t the store to do so. They only have 1.5 Isles with men’s shoes and the rest are for women and children.

The worst customer service I went to return some things that they gave me and they didn't fit me! And the guy in the box young black of about 24 years old didn't want to make me the change he said that he had stolen the clothes that didn't match and never scanned them he started screaming and offending until I talked to the manager who only saw me as an idiot until I told him scan the damn ticket and you'll see that it's the same garment hooo surprise it matched and he just gave me the cash and threw it at me and insulted I hope they fire that pair of idiots the worst customer service

Ryan in the golf department, knows whats good and is a good salesman. Snagged a limited edition Scotty Cameron from him and could not be happier. Give the man the raise he deserves. Some people would have been scared to pull out a thousand dollar putter in order to protect the merchandise but Ryan knew how to complete the sale and knows how to make the store money!!

Facility is nice. Incredibly limited options. Maybe this is just a smaller location, but there were only a couple of options for leggings. Just a really, really disappointing selection for apparel. I went in hoping to get an idea of what would work for me, and didn't find a single thing I wanted to try on because there were such few options to choose from

I had a golf fitting with Zack. Good person to work with, he spent an hour with me and 4 or 5 different drivers. Good employees make a good experience.

Hey so I went in to grab a few small things for a camping and fishing trip. But they don’t have anything. Like not one thing. As in ZERO FISHING AND CAMPING STUFF. Don’t go here if you need anything related to that. But hey. they have half the store dedicated to golf. Not downing golf at all. but to be a sporting goods store and not have a single thing related to camping or fishing? They must be phasing it out kinda crazy since this store is like 10 miles from Falls Lake!!

I recently stopped by this location to look at some golf clubs. Kenny from the golf department approached me and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. I'm a relatively new to the sport so I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for. Long story made short, Kenny took nearly a hour and a half out of his time to explain the benefits of different clubs and fit me for a driver on the spot. I couldn't have asked for a better experience as a new golfer and look forward to going back to see him soon!

Very thankful for Jake helping me out today. I came in for a gift card and he assisted me with picking one out and making some other great suggestions for future purchases. His excellent customer service definitely surpassed my expectations!
