I am writing to share my thoughts and concerns regarding your Hero’s Day initiative, which honors military personnel, police officers, and firefighters. While I deeply appreciate your efforts to recognize these brave individuals, I was disappointed to see that emergency medical services (EMTs and paramedics) and nurses are not included in this recognition.
As both a nurse and an EMT, this exclusion feels particularly disheartening. Nurses and EMS personnel are often on the front lines during emergencies, disasters, and daily crises, providing life-saving care and unwavering support to those in need. Their contributions are invaluable and deserve acknowledgment alongside other first responders and service members.
During a recent visit to one of your stores, I expressed my concerns to a sales associate. They were kind enough to escalate the issue to a manager to inquire about the possibility of including EMS and nurses in Hero’s Day. Unfortunately, the response was a nonchalant “no,” which left me questioning whether Dillard's believes that EMS and nurses matter as heroes at all. From this exclusion, it seems as if our work and sacrifices are being overlooked.
I respectfully urge Dillard's to reconsider this policy and expand Hero’s Day to include nurses and EMS professionals. Their dedication, bravery, and selflessness align with the very values that Hero’s Day seeks to celebrate. Including these professionals would demonstrate a more inclusive acknowledgment of all who serve and protect our communities with courage and compassion.
Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback. I hope Dillard's will take steps to honor the invaluable contributions of these everyday heroes in the future.

I bought a pair of nude wedges from Dilliard's a couple weeks ago and wore them ONCE for a wedding where I was mostly sitting for 4 hours. I take the shoes off that same day and they are already frayed. I paid nearly $90 for these shoes for the quality to not even last one evening. I go back to the store to return them, and the manager sends me away saying they can't do anything because they're not re-sellable. This return policy was not something I was notified of upon purchase, nor is it listed on their receipt (which I did bring to return).
The only thing giving this a two-star review instead of one is the woman who helped me when I was looking for shoes. She was great and attentive, and brought me other shoes to try before I ultimately settled on, what I now know as, low-quality shoes. Would not recommend anyone buy from the Gianni Bini brand.

Terrible refund/exchange policy which was not explained to me at the time of purchase. Now I'm stuck with an almost $200 dress that doesn't fit and the store is not allowing me to even get a store credit back. My family & I have spent a lot of money at this location over the years. Experience is disappointing!

The Good: the person who helped me with my return and then spent time helping me find some options that might be a better fit. Ultimately we didn’t find anything that would work. Though the Employee was covering a lot of territory, she was genuinely friendly and really doing her best to assist me. I loved that old school personal attention. She was prepared to try to help even more, but I had to tell her that was enough because it was so very hot inside the store. I couldn’t tell the air conditioner was working at all, especially inside the fitting room. I had to get out of there!
Where it not for the employee, this would be a 1 star review. I would have left after my return had she not asked a couple of questions and pointed out some other options that I might want to give a try. Going forward, I will still consider Dillard, but I will stick to ordering from the website and using the store only for returns because of the uncomfortable temperature for me in this store.

I love dillards never have I ever not been treated nice but tonight I was treated rudely I was browsing and a India employee told me rudely in front of other customers that we closing in 2 min I nicely said okay people where having full conversation with each other and still browsing and nothing said to them so as I was walking towards the escalators to leave she made it a point to leave her register to tell me again walking towards me where close and I nicely said why are you telling me that again I heared you the first time she said because I want you to leave I was clearly leaving if I was going towards the escalators to go downstairs I was clearly single out and I don't appreciate it she was very rude and dillards is one of my favorite store I am highly disappointed and can't believe she follow me towards the escalators to repeat the same thing to me as if I was not leaving an truly I don't complain about anything but I truly felt harassed and I know dillards to be a great store but if she did this to me she will do it to someone else unacceptable and as I was walking out another employee downstairs told me to have a goodnight and thats the customer service I'm use too.

Forcing your employees to cold text customers from their personal phones is intrusive and most likely illegal. I will never shop at a store that is abusive to their employees.

I purchased a dress at Dillard’s a while ago. I know the return policy; but I had no intentions of returning the dress because I really liked the dress. It hung in my closet for a lengthy amount of time. I decided I wanted to wear it for Easter. I noticed it had a very noticeable defect! I don’t want my money back I just want to exchange! I paid my hard earned money for the dress! The dress has never been worn!

Stop by and picked up a mobile order. Store didn't seem very busy. Had trouble finding the customer service desk which is on the second floor but staff were helpful and friendly.

Still a store of high quality clothing and accessories. Sets in a dieing mall and hours have been cut back. Very small but capable staff.
