Impressive hotel! Service was amazing. We had a large group and they were helpful and accommodating. They even upgraded my room for free and left me a note with a bag of snacks. The restaurant and bar downstairs is really nice. The hotel is beautifully decorated, new, clean, and a great place to stay. I highly recommend. It is one of the best Hilton Hotels I have ever stayed at (and I travel a lot!)

The room was as booked with two queens however they have no suites so all basically same room size. Hard to walk anywhere as off highway and no sidewalks. Breakfast on weekdays ends at 9am which if on vacation seems early. Little shop in lobby had mostly chips and drinks and a few bars and cereal. Free parking. No business center or computers for guest to use. Basic and clean. Nice professional staffWalkability: Not able to really walk to anything and no sidewalks

Internet was down, waited for it to be repaired for hours until realizing it wasn’t getting fixed. Advised hotel I would have to move to another hotel if Internet was repaired. They said “that’s fine” through text. Now after moving to another Hilton property, they are charging me for the room. Won’t ever stay here again. Homeless people hangout and poor elevator layout as well.

I attended a Flight Instructor Refresher Seminar at the Midtown Double Tree on Saturday and Sunday January the 20&21st 2024. Since I needed to be there early Saturday morning and would leave Sunday I reserved a room for two nights, Friday and Saturday. I checked in to my room at around 1 am Saturday morning. Staff was very nice and helpful, room was nice and clean so no problem there. My complaint is I was there for two nights but my card was charged for three nights. A $242.26 charge which would be correct for the two nights but then there is an additional charge of $141.13 . There is also a third charge of $41.00 for dinner Saturday night which I think is way over priced. I know mistakes happen but my real problem is I can't seem to get the problem resolved. I called the hotel, six times before I finally got someone to answer the phone. When I finally got to talk to someone at the hotel they referred me to another number where I spoke to someone who was very nice on the phone but spoke very broken English with a Spanish accent. After a long struggle with the broken English I finally got her to understand the nature of my problem. She apologized for the mistake and told me she would check into it and refund my money back to my card. It has been two weeks and my money has still not been put back on my card. I thought the hotel was nice enough for most normal people so I'm not going to say do not stay there but I do recommend this: Only pay in cash, do not give them access to your debit or credit card and go out for dinner. Breakfast was actually pretty good. Joel Lineberger

Heaters run very loudly. Silence is important when you need rest...

During check in, there was only one person working and there was a long line. When I finally got to desk to get my key, because my husband had already checked in online, she did not give me waters and cookies, which is what Doubletree is famous for. I told her my husband is highest level in Hilton so I want my cookies. After I told her that, she gave them to me. I thought everyone who checked in, no matter their Hilton status, received cookies.Went to bar/restaurant for dinner. Service was good but good terrible. Very expensive but what are you going to do? If you don't know area or don't have access to vehicle, not much choice. Food is terrible. Just figure it out and go anywhere else. Food is extremely expensive and it's very bad.I've noticed management only responds to nice, feel good, unicorn and rainbow reviews so I imagine they won't respond to why they charge insane prices for awful food in their restaurant.Good luck staying here. You're on your own....

Wonderful clean and comfy hotel. The only issue is no microwave in room and breakfast is not free, but it is a good breakfast and there is a microwave in lobby.

Abir in the Kitchen is wonderful. The food was great and she was very kind and helpful. For an older hotel it is very comfortable, the only thing I can say the water needs to be a little hotter. It set at 100-105 In the shower and 120 at the sink (which is normal) besides that it’s a great hotel! I’ve stayed here twice in the last year and the staff is nice as well.

Not the greatest. Definitely the least hospitable check-in I’ve ever experienced. The woman said maybe 3 words. There was no greeting, and certainly no cookie. She just took my credit card and handed me a room key. Room was out of body wash, conditioner, and I could hear every word from the people in the room next to me. There was no clock in the room so I ordered a wake up call for 7am. That call never came. Oh well.

I book my room late, on Friday 10-27-23. Had no plans on needing a room. But do to an issue at home. I decided I would defuse that issue by simply removing myself from my home and grabbing a room for the night. Hours after I checked in my. Thinking maybe to tomorrow would bring a better light. Home would be better. My room phone rings I don’t pick up cause no one should be calling me right, wrong. My better “half” for lack of a better word. Found me, maybe the confirmation email or her Great stalking abilities. Maybe my car is tracked. We do not have the same name. So imagine my surprise when there was a knock at the door, look out the peek hole, My better”half” the front desk person and a maintenance worker or at the door. Now my better”have I beautiful 5”8 long brown hair bombshell but when she is angry it better to run. Not only did they confirm I was there walked her to my room and they attempted to open the door with there key, I looked up the privacy policy. After they left and could not get in cause kept my hand on the lock. In fear for my safety when the coast was clear I leave Doubletree Midtown. I went to that buddy we all got home. No questions ask. The next day I try to report this but no one knows how to get anyone from customer service, Hilton or the line. FYI I am a 6 foot tall 185 pound black man my better”half she white. Does anyone think if the shoe was on the other foot these great employees would have walked me to her room and tried to open the door for me . So Saturday night cooler head now. She is fine but admitting in her up set sage what she had on her and what she may have done had that door open. We are getting her counseling but I am lucky to be alive. I still would like to talk to someone at Hilton. Look me up That someone I was at the Doubletree Midtown Raleigh North Carolina room 320 on 10-27-2023 all this took place between 9 pm and 10:30pm Thank youHS314

This was the worst Hilton property I’ve ever stayed at. The room had a perfume pumped into it that was awful. The sink leaked everywhere. The shower was dirty and when I did shower, the drain was very slow and I was standing in an inch was water by the end - gross! The hallway and common areas were not clean. I was extremely disappointed.

My experience was great until 1:30AM when the raliegh police are beating on the door across the hall from me. With 4 cops with AR-15s drawn and giving orders to a man who was running from police... it became obvious this was not a good place to get some sleep. I'm glad they found the man and no was hurt but that was the wildest night I've ever had at a hotel. Not good

Not the worst place I have ever stayed but I definitely would not book again. Could hear every single word the family in the adjoining room said. You could actually see the light from their room under the door. I felt like we were staying in the same room. Staff was not really rude but they would just stare awkwardly. No hellos or anything just staring. The breakfast is $15 but they will not let you pay cash or card. You have to charge the room. That’s fine unless someone else paid for your room or it is being reimbursed. So basically we couldn’t purchase anything. Thankfully there is a Dunkin in walking distance. That was the only positive besides the fact that the rooms didn’t have carpet and were generally clean.

this is an updated property with a beautiful lobby, bar area, and very comfortable rooms. it’s immaculately clean and has everything you could possibly need. while it’s located right in the middle of everything, it has a secluded and quiet vibe. i’ll be staying here again in the future.
