I love it here. The warm welcome when you arrive. The environment makes me feel so happy. They're very thorough with your service. The handicap accessible and friendly as I'm in a wheelchair. The quality of their work is why I keep going back. Thank you so much! ?

The shop is small and there is a terrible language barrier. Most of the staff speaks Spanish, yet they service mainly African American women. I went to get tape in extensions installed and they were installed too close to my scalp. They dyed my hair and the dye was too strong and it also colored the perimeter of my face. To add injury to insult, she BURNED my forehead and I had a noticeable burn leaving the salon. I was charged the FULL PRICE and no one ever apologized! Needless to say, I won't be going back. They do cheap work and seem to get away with it because no complains.

I was doing maintenance work on this building and these women were extremely kind and offered to wash and cut my hair for free. They did and excellent job and my hair looks the healthiest I’ve seen it in years. I definitely Recommend this salon. The staff was extremely sweet and funny and worked very fast considering I have very long hair.Services: Shampoo & conditioning

I love this place!! They are very friendly, I know some reviews say otherwise but They respect that I have natural curly hair and never damage my curls I haven’t experienced any hair damage. They even offer products for curly hair if you ask. I Have been going here since I moved to nc years ago. Only place in nc I trust with my hair. Being able to go in on any random day and get out within a few hours is amazing especially for the cost!Services: Blowouts

I've been going here on & off since I moved here from NYC. I ALWAYS bring my own shampoo and conditioner- even when I was still living in NYC I brought my own products ever since I stopped relaxing my hair in 2011. Once, I went to Erlina's and the woman who always blows my hair(Maritza) said she would wash it. She used their shampoo and I told her to rinse it out and use mine. She did this 3 times (the same visit) and laughed it off and said she kept forgetting to use my shampoo. I didn't make a fuss- I believed her. I kept going on & off and I was going today, but I had to look on Google for their number to make sure the woman was there that normally blows my hair,. I decided to read the reviews and I'm reading way too many reviews about them sneaking relaxers in black women's hair. Again, this is the only place I know and they're convenient when I want or need my hair blown out. Another thing that I don't like is that they use a flat iron, which is way too much heat. So I guess I'll try to do it myself.Services: Blowouts

I’m honestly so hurt right now. I’ve been going to Erlinas since I moved to Raleigh in 2019. I loved the way they were able to straighten my hair and always wondered how it lasted as long as it did but I still went every 3-4 weeks. Well I started noticing how I was losing my natural curl pattern which was beautiful and having straight ends so I started going every couple of months instead but it was too late my curl pattern is completely gone. I just recently found out they use relaxer in their conditioner which explained so much. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR NATURAL!Services: Blowouts

They use relaxers in their conditioner & shampoo and if you have good curls you won’t anymore! I always wondered why my scalp was always so itchy after leaving & i figured out why. They definitely need to shut down & stop lying to people ??♀️

I live in Rocky Mount I travel an hour for my blowouts. When I find a spot or a person that works loyalty for life. Lety is my girl! Everyone else is seems just as capable. But Lety can't explain her. My hair has actually grown since she's entered into my life and I DO NOT let just anyone touch my hair. I'm telling you Erlinas is the spot. And ask for LetyService: Blowouts

This business over the years has changed so much. I have been coming since high school and the service from them has not been so pleasant. I literally came last week and got 4 lines of exstentions put in my hair. They charged me 45 for a blow out and 20$ per line for my extensions. Today I come back in 5 days later for a blow out and Im told its more because I have exstentions in my hair that they put in. Im very upset because me and my mom come a lot and this will be my last time! I drive past the shops in my town to get serviced here and this was not good business. Please think twice before u visit this salon!

I walked in and walked right back out. I already knew how badly they wanted to strip my natural healthy mane. Ladies let other black women do your hair and stop letting these Dominicans throw your hair in the trash as they do it because that is exactly what they do. If they cannot go to school to learn black hair they have no business touching it. They use too much heat and cheap products and will not tell you anything they are doing. I will never trust them to my strong black hair. Keep your crowns safe from violators.

You all sneak relaxer in your shampoo and cause so many to lose their natural curls they have had for a long time. It takes a while for hair to grow healthy . Went for simple trim and you all relaxed my hair my curls are gone

SalonThis salon located in Raleigh Nc, a Dominican hair. On Saturday, February 11, 2023, I enter the shop around 9:45am. I was sat in the chair to wash and two people came on to my hair. I understand that I have thick course hair. I am black so what else could I have done. But I’m just now getting into a chair at 11am to start my blowout. As you know other people have different language and you tell by the way they look they were speaking about me. Before hand, I also was pushed back due to another customer having “more hair” than the other girl, although I was first. I sat in a waiting area while my hair was wet and for them to put someone before me, they let my hair become dryer and then when it become dry it starts to shrink and become hard to handle versus wet hair. Overall my time was horrible there and they are so rude about, when you voice your concern they don’t care not one bit and try to cut you off. To be real, state needs to come because it doesn’t make sense how they had so many people in there and 3-4 of us are just waiting in a tight area for 30 minutes or over with other customers hair wet as well. Then gets mad when my hair too thick to handle. This post is not to bash their work for other people but if you are a black women or male and you have thick hair, you will not be treated the same as others who hair are easier to work with. But if you work in a salon, to me it shouldn’t matter what type of hair you have.
