I have a business account with FNB and came to this location to get a document notarized to confirm my identity for Facebook. I had the form that Facebook gave me to get notarized, as well as two forms of identity. The person there that was responsible for notarizing documents on 8/29/24 at 2pm denied me because “he doesn’t know what the document will be used for”. After telling him that it’s for Facebook and to confirm my identity and I have my state issues identification he told me I must be a bank customer. After telling him I have a business account he told me he could deny anyone for any reason and rnatbincokdk take my business to the UPS down the street. He was very rude and honestly it felt a little racially motivated. I would not want to work with this person again and I’m having trouble finding the courage to come back to this location to do business, which really sucks because I work downtown and this is the closest FNB to me during the day. FNB give you employees training on how to speak to people of color.

A bank that charges non members $10 to cash a check is ridiculous, incredibly disappointing and disingenuous. I would never join this bank!

Recently moved to Raleigh and had to obtain a new bank card. Called, answer on the second ring. Walked over, immediately attended to. All questions answered, problems resolved, and even received some tips on local places of interest (as a recent transplant). Lisa and company are fantastic. 10/10

I am calling the Downtown Office on Fayettevile St. And they ring many times and no one answers.
