I'm not a fan of having my money withheld. Associates can see what games I bought in the system or not, and they're refusing to cancel my preorders and give me my money. I wasted time in store with my daughter now I have to find someone to care for her to come back and deal with this all because they want to hold on to my money for products they didn't even sell to me!! I've worked here for years and loved this store so it's such a slap in the face that they treat their customers (who spend thousands!!) Like this. I've literally never been avidly mistreated like this in a business before.

Hard to navigate with a wheelchair. A staff member talked directly to my service dog. Store itself was clean.

the crabtree location is absolute trash. they sold us an empty box told us word for word (i have it on video) they fucked us out of $150 bc they can't ensure we don't take it but they can 100% ensure no employees including from the truck didn't take it. the employee that was there grabbed the only one from the bottom of the entire casing and conveniently that was the empty one. Also threaten to call the cops on us because they didn't feel like dealing with us anymore and the store manager continue to call my boyfriend "bud" over the assistant managers phone. ridiculously unprofessional and somebody needs to take care of that staff as a whole. we also went to a separate location bc we did actually need this item and another employee let us know that was a regular thing that crab tree does and they get nothing but bad reviews. do better.

I not one for reviews but dude deserves an amazing review. Not only did he patiently explain pokemon cards to my clueless husband and I.. he also gave our son some cards from his own collection to really help him get his collection started. Who does that?? It was so nice and very unexpected. My son is now even more excited to keep collecting. Thank you!

This gamestop is the best. The team is great. I can count many times, I am greeted, helped and taken care of. Q the manager and Jade the other leader are amazing at what the do . I will always drop by for the latest and any news. I love how welcoming this location is. I come at least 1-2 a week to see whats new. You all deserve 10 stars

I have been twice recently and both times the staff were extremely pushy about pushing preorders and warranties. I get that they have a bottom line, but it is unethical and possibly illegal to ring up a customer for a warranty without asking. Both times I was checked out by Jade. I got the products I wanted but would give the customer service zero stars if possible. This is not how warranties ought to be sold.

Phenomenal amazing staff. I always feel welcomed when I go in there. Staff treat you like family more than a customer. Manager is very honest and upright. Overall best game stop in Raleigh.

Awesome store. Awesome staff. I drive all the way from Wake Forest to shop at this location bc it is the best. My only suggestion is that you move the store to a bigger location bc they could make GREAT use of it now that the ThinkGeek is gone to fill that collectibles gap. Also, pay the staff more and generally staff more so that the crush of customers on the weekends gets maximum return.

So I’ve always had a positive experience at this location but recently these guys helped me out so much that I just had to write a review. So long story short, I have TMJ, basically my jaw is in pain all the time and when I game with my over-ear head phones it really puts pressure on my jaw and causes me so much pain I usually can only play games for a couple hours before it hurts too much. I was casually talking with the guys working (I truly wish I remembered their names so sorry) when they mentioned the Atrix E-series pro wireless headset. They let me try a pair on and it was the lightest headset I have ever put on and could tell immediately that this wasn’t going to cause my jaw to flair up. I have literally gone through 10 different headsets (paid over 500 bucks trying different headsets) only to always have this issue. While they didn’t a pair at the store they could sell me they went the extra mile and let me know of every store in a 5 mile radius that had the E-series. I was able to pick one up and for the first time I was able to game without being in pain. The sound quality was amazing, and they only cost me 50 bucks. Sorry for such a long review but thank you guys so much for taking the time and going the extra mile. It truly has meant the world and I just can’t thank you enough.

Got everything you need but you get bombarded with subscriptions you don't want at the end. Not the employees' fault, they just do as they're instructed to not lose their job. I wish they weren't forced to though and were instead encouraged to legitimately chat people up and not have the quotas to meet.
