“I truly enjoyed my experience at Eagle 1. This was my 1st hand gun purchase and Sam and Peter were so helpful walking me through the process and educating me on the different types of firearms so that I could make an informed decision.”

“I recently participated in Brian Searcy's precision rifle class. It was one of the most insightful, low pressure firearm’s class I have taken. Brian's real world, combat (23 years 1st -SFOD- D sniper) and competitive (F-Class Champion) experience was instrumental in making the class a success. I hope he continues sharing this wealth of knowledge in making everyman (or woman) a rifleman.”

Ron is like your favorite rifle, he shoots it straight. Ron is very friendly and won't give you the runaround. He’ll be honest with you and provide his opinion, while considering all of your input and needs. Look no further, Ron is your guy!!”

“I am not personally a fan of shooting, but I visited this range with some friends out of pure curiosity. Since I was a first-timer, I started in a classroom where I received excellent training on gun handling, parts of the firearm, and essential safety rules. I also had to complete a written safety assessment before moving out to the actual range.

The range itself was incredibly loud, but the provided headphones did a great job protecting our ears. Having mostly seen firearms in movies, I thought I knew what to expect—until I actually held one. When I took my first shot, the recoil, heat, noise, and smell felt completely violent, almost like a small bomb exploding in my hands. I was so startled I didn't even notice where the bullet hit.

It took me a moment to recover from the shock before trying a second time. On the next shot, I managed to focus on my aim. It wasn't a bullseye, of course, but the experience was still jarring. I figured I just needed to get used to it, but the third shot was equally shocking, and I realized I wasn't enjoying myself.

Ultimately, I decided it just wasn't my cup of tea and stopped. For me, the experience felt a bit too intense and violent to ever want to do it again. I'm glad I tried it, but it will definitely remain a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

“I really enjoyed my time here. I had a little issue with the schedule, and management was able to get the situation rectified immediately. I did an hour practicing shooting in the range for my concealed carry class. Gideon and Ben were awesome instructors. They took their time, taught me how to aim better, and made sure I understood the range process from start to finish. Be sure to arrive one hour prior to closing if you would like to spend time in the range if you aren’t a member. Come with your ear protection and eye protection or you will have to purchase there.”
