Great place. Tools I've gotten from here have been reliable so far. I've only had to replace my drill once. When it broke, it was my fault. I'm considering purchasing a large chunk of the Hercules line of cordless tools. I'm just disappointed because have a tool I really need in the Baur line but not for the Hercules, and there is no adapter for the battery to crossover. So, o may have to buy a Baur battery just for that one tool. That's crazy to me.
Harbor Freight is a God send. Especially since that one place that starts with an S has gone out of business.

Had the worst customer service experience at this store. The employee at the register was incredibly rude and he was racist. This is not the fist time I’ve encountered poor customer service at this location. I will never go to this store again.

Harbor Freight is great and I love the online store. However the Raleigh store whilst clean lacks customer service. The attitude I get seems to be “take it or leave it, someone else will buy it anyway”. I guess it’s just too much hassle do their jobs. I hope this doesn’t apply to all staff. Shame. I will stick to their online store or go elsewhere.

Overall a good place for small micky mouse stuff like tie wraps, brushes, hand tools, cutters, tape but I would not buy anything with a gas motor on it or plugged in. I had a heat gun smoked on me during my first use. They are not like the ones I use at work. Get a brand name.

A paradise on earth for me as a craftsman. A small shopping mall for men. The selection is very large and the price-performance ratio is right. I was looking for drills and a 12' chainsaw blade. I was able to buy both there.

Prices are great. Service was lacking, I could have used some help but they were too busy trying to close than help. The manager's personal life was the topic of conversation and I appeared to annoy her. Sorry, I was there 20 minutes to close to pick up a saw I knew nothing about and googling what blade to buy. The young man cashier was pleasant and attentive.

Cannot beat the place! The employees were bending backwards to assist me. The manager was very helpful. Definitely a place to go if you need tools for a weekend project.
