Unreliable Harris Teeter mobile app. Sometimes it adds your VIC savings and sometimes it doesn’t. Very shady and likely intentional, if you ask me. Make sure you verify your VIC savings with the cashier because if you notice you got stiffed on VIC savings after you get home and call the store, they’ll tell you they can’t do anything about it and you have to call the HT corporate customer service number. 😡

Beware of the chicken! Twice I have gotten sick from eating chicken from the Millbrook Rd. store. It’s not the manufacturer’s fault. It’s the cleanliness of the meat counter itself. It literally stinks like rotten meat! I have also walked into the store several times and could literally smell the stench From the seafood department at the entrance door. I would never buy anything from the seafood department just because of the times that I have smelt a foul odor coming from there. I called in 2019 about the chicken meat counter now it’s 2024 and it’s still the same. It’s unfortunate because the store is close to me and more convenient, but I literally travel all the way to the Creedmoor Road store in Stonehenge to purchase my meats. I’m so disappointed in the way, the meat counter is handled. How hard is it to clean this thing once a month I mean, really aren’t these people paid by the hour to do this type of work? Why is it not scheduled? Absolutely poor management! On a positive note, I would like to say that the pharmacy is probably one of the best run pharmacies I have come across! Everybody is always super friendly and willing to help. The pharmacists and staff are very knowledgeable. I’ve had to call and speak with Jennifer one of the pharmacists on several occasions throughout the years, and she is on top of her game. She is an outstanding pharmacist! I would give the pharmacy department and all staff five stars easy! As far as the outside of the store, I would recommend a good pressure washing and cleaning all the stucco areas as it’s starting to look a little rundown and it’s such a nice looking building, but it’s definitely in need of some Exterior washing to remove the mold, mildew and black streaks from the stucco areas.

Competition in the grocery sector has really gotten tough . Good shopping experience but you pay more for it. Decent store layout and very friendly employees. I have been a bit disappointed with the fruits lately. Quality is maybe not as good as it once was. This location is super convenient but it's also crazy busy during rush hour trying to get in and out of the parking lot.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but tonight I was a little bit, disappointed in the service that I was given. Today is my son‘s birthday and he really loves sushi. They were on sale so I decided to get one of each so that him and his friends could enjoy. so I got about 6 to 8 different kinds. As I was on my way to self check out, I seen that they had forks and spoons as well as some chopsticks, I grabbed some so that they could have options. At the self check out, I scanned one item and the screen stated that I needed the worker to come over. When she looked down she saw the utensils and started complaining saying “why do I need all of this just for one sushi, the next thing you guys are going to complain that there aren’t any there and it’s because y’all keep taking them all, save some for other people.” She left so fast that she didn’t completely solve the problem on the screen and if she would’ve slowed down, she would’ve seen that I had a lot more sushi packs on the side. I don’t spend money to get lectured on something that is completely free. She treated me like I wasn’t a paying customer but a thief. If I had gone over my limit, then maybe she should’ve brought a manager over or told me to put back some. But I don’t appreciate that kind of service and had to say something.The receipt read Cindy Lazette, I’m not writing this for her to lose her job, but she definitely needs to be trained on how to interact with customers because I felt like it was very unprofessional how she confronted me.

I used the bathroom and I wished I hadn’t. Stinks like urine! The floors were soaked with water. Trash on the floors. Just disgusting! I expect better when walking into a Harris Teeter.

I bought a fried chicken bucket at 10:40 AM this morning. I hustled out the door to get back to a job site. When I opened the container the top piece was hot and fresh however every other piece was cold, dry and hard. Was this a way to get yesterday's chicken out the door?

Really kind and understanding staff; I'd used online shopping services from here a few times, stopped by in person for the first time midway through a long midday walk. The place looks really clean and well-organized, none of the staff seemed to be in a rush and yet I was able to buy a couple small items and go along my way in record time. Easily one of the best Harris Teeter locations in the area, will likely be stopping by more frequently!

Went grocery shopping around 9pm. Went to checkout around 9:30, with around $300 worth of groceries. Not a single register was open, so I asked the person upfront if the one closest to self checkout was available as they usually are when self checkout is the only option. Received and one word “no” answer and she proceeded to walk away.
Had to use self checkout and scan/bag $300 worth of groceries with it having problems every other item. A few things didn’t ring up as the special price and had to argue with the woman working to receive the discount.
If it was 10:30 and the only option was self checkout, I’d understand. But only having that option an hour and a half before closing is absolutely ridiculous.
I will be taking my shopping to another store in the future.

My mom and I love coming to the bakery to get a giant cupcake each. (3/29/24) Last night we were looking at the case. There were 2 people cleaning up and did not speak to us to see if we needed anything. One of the employees turned off the display lights while we were looking about to order out the case. Not one time did they ask if we needed anything. We thought it was rude to turn off the display case lightening and walk off and never came back out until we left. I typically love coming to HT but that small incident was not okay with us.
