I’ve bought a birthday mug with little balloons for my daughters birthday bc she loves mugs . But it had hard glue sticked to the inside we couldn’t take it off. I went to the store to exchange it or returned but the manager seemed didn’t care about it. Really didn’t put any effort on helping me and said nothing can be done . So, I left the mug with him and left the store . I used to work at Harries Teerers and loved the way we cared about customers. This was very sad . Also wasted more tan 20 on a present we didn’t used .

I was in the frozen section shopping and this female employee was wondering aimlessly around the aisle and all of a sudden she cut me off and got right in my face and said "You are kind of tall so when you bend down you are mooning people". So by people i assume she meant her since she was the only one who was within 20 feet of me, and the only one who so brazenly invaded my personal space. She must have had her head right down my pants if she really did see my whole butt, since she was kind of tall too. And why wasnt she working instead of harassing me and checking out my butt? In my opinion she kind of looked like a freak wearing that giant mask. Needless to say i wont be going back to that store anytime soon.

I was stopping in today to grab some groceries and an employee noticed my limp (I suffered a stroke a little over a month ago). Whereas most people just graze over me clinking around with my cane, or even give me agitated looks, Pam took the time to talk with me for a few minutes and even pray with me regarding my illness. There couldn’t be a better representative of a company out there; she literally made my day. We need more people like Pam in this world.

This used to be my #1 stop for seasoned wings. The butcher is packing up closer and closer to 730 by either taking stuff off the rack or not being available. I'll be shopping elsewhere until new butcher staff stay open until 8 like the sign says.

The store employees have an overall emptiness & bad energy that they carry around with them. & the rotund white young lady at the self checkout has an attitude. (She's not exactly Angelina Jolie therefore she doesn't get a lot of practice interacting with people.. Poor thing). 1 star.

Edit: They must have read my review because they got new baskets. The last 2 times I went there was a stack of 20+ waiting for me at the door. The store is well stocked and every employee I've interacted with is helpful and friendly, but management needs to invest in new carts and baskets. I've never seen more than 3 baskets available at the front and 90% of the time there are 0 available. Recently there have also been 0 carts. There are employees constantly gathering the carts from the lot, but only ever in batches of 3 or 4 because there aren't enough carts to cycle through. The lack of baskets also leads to problems at the self checkout, because it gets very crowded with everyone unloading a cart in the small space. Please just buy more baskets and this would be a great location.

Harris Teeter never fails to get it right. If they don’t just let them know and they get it right. My number one place to shop for groceries. Forget Food Lion. Don’t even bother.

This is our local Harris teeter that we shop at every week. The parking lot is very spacious and there's always a spot to park. The pharmacy staff is amazing and is very knowledgeable with all of the prescriptions. The store is very clean and there's always someone ready to help. I love the experience every week of visiting here to get my groceries.

I drive to NC to be seen at Duke & always stop at HT on the way back to Virginia. Why because it's to top drawer of grocery stores, clean, well stocked, huge variety & above all very reasonably priced. I just love shopping here.
