The best grocery store in my opinion, and I'll tell you why? * The staff there is always very polite, and I work there as well, and I am polite, and do all of the helping customers and cleaning the whole store. * Clean grocery store. *The sugar cookies samples are very tasty at the bakery. * The pay here is pretty good if you decide to work at Harris teeter, and good opportunities as well. I love this store but some items are pretty expensive, but at least the staff there works hard. I love my job, and the managers there are pretty fair. Can't wait to shop there as well.

Harris Teeter is my go-to grocery store for most items. Also, extremely convenient when it's a quick drive from my house to the store. Staff is consistently friendly and helpful. Ample parking, but occasionally runs out of fresh produce in the organic section. Still, recommended if you're not too specific about your groceries.

My boyfriend wanted me to stop by the Harris teeter and get him a Starbucks. I go in and right next to the doors is a huge dead cockroach. While I'm waiting for my drink I go up to some of the staff chatting and point out the cockroach. He says it's not his department. I said "yes well, I thought you might know someone who would be in that department." So then one of the cashiers propping her head on her elbows said "there's tissues right there you can clean it up." I couldn't back down I knew what she was trying to do. So I agreed and picked up the cockroach. I should have immediately gone to a manager.

The service at the Strickland location is terrible. The teens you hire tend to be okay but they are seasonal. There is a woman who works at Starbucks who is the reason I don’t buy coffee from this store when she’s there. She is known to have miserable customer service and a threatening demeanor and I have witnessed her rough attitude when she speaks to her own coworkers. Management is aware but does nothing. On top of that experience, we are forced to use self checkout and your employee made it clear she ‘has to pee’ when I needed help because the kiosk stopped working. Don’t come here if you want your day to start well! No longer worth the convenience to shop here.

I am starting to think it is a policy that the cashier stands and watch you in the self-checkout lane. This is the second Harris Teeter I have been to in two days where the self-checkout cashier looks at you while checking out with their arms folded as if you are going to steal something.

I had a really good experience shopping here. Trevor was my cashier and he bagged my items very carefully and was really helpful. Keep him!

I have absolutely no idea what the woman's name is that is over the self checkout but I know I'm not the only one who has had an issue with her. She's just... Angry. And loud. She nearly shoves you off the sepf checkout counter when you, and pray you don't need it, have to get help. How they keep allowing her to hover over self checkout and bully customers is beyond me. Do better.

Decent variety of fruits and vegetables. Mostly courteous and helpful staff. Lots of bakery goods this time. Paper bags are now provided at self-checkout registers.

I typically shop between this location and the one on Creedmoor Road off of Strickland. I bought some grouper last night that I was planning on cooking for dinner tonight, and it was supposed to be good for two more days. I noticed a stench in my refrigerator this morning, and it was coming from the package of grouper that I just bought. I had to throw it out, and nothing was wrong with my refrigerator - it's temping at 35 degrees. I'm not shopping at your store again.

Steve in the meat department always provides outstanding service to my mother. He is a real asset to this HT!

I have shopped at this store for years. But within the last two years they have gone down hill in customer service. The rudest employees in Bakery. Everything is up to a month old. Store management will do nothing to help you.

Beyond Racist. I would not do business again. Left there feeling less than human. Raised my concerns to the store manager immediately after I went and He said he apologized on their behalf. This is not the type of treatment we need or should allow. This place should be closed.

After shopping here for years, today was my last time. Many of their 'sales' items are not actually on sale, and four times now I noticed on my receipt that there was one item that rung up wrong, so that I had to go to customer service to get money back. The so-called store managers couldn't care less, I told them every time, they got defensive and blamed it on 'corporate'. From now on, we will spend the $1,000 / month for groceries at Publix across the street.

I had the best customer service from a gentleman at the meat and seafood counter. He helped me choose the right choice and even reapportioned a piece of fish for something more manageable for me and my budget. I cannot thank him enough and my shopping experience was improved by his positive attitude and helpful advice. I hope all my visits are as positive as this one was.
