Today, I was at this store to return a shirt. I will never get back to this store again. I prefer to return items by mail rather than drive five minutes to the mall because of this place employees. The associate who helped me was so rude that it was beyond comprehension. If you hate your life and your job, please do not ruin other people's day! I feel so bad for that lady; she seemed full of hatred.

I want to praise the wonderful employee who refused to change the size of my pants. I didn't even ask him to return the money. I just asked to change the size because the previous ones didn't fit me.

Avoid this chain and especially this store.
My teenagers like to shop there, but I think we’re done.
Most recent bad experience: my daughter bought jeans (paid cash) and when she got them home, realized that the zipper was broken.
We returned them the next day, with receipt in hand and tags still attached.
Girl at the register just said “we’re not taking returns today”
I told her we had driven an hour and we paid cash. We just wanted our cash back.
“We’re not taking returns today.”
That’s all she would repeat.
Treated me like a mean angry customer for politely asking to return a defective item.
And refused.
Will not ever be going back.

If I can give 0 star for this store I would. I just had the worst customer service experience in a Retail Store ever and so sad that it’s even from their very own Store Manager, I didn’t get his name, he’s a male, black and medium built who was assigned yesterday,December 16th for the evening shift.
Me and husband was trying to replace an item we bought during the Black Friday , it was Small sized which was big for me so I was going to exchange it to XS. And they explained we had to pay the price difference because the price is back to regular, however we were hoping for him to be more considerate as I had similar experience before from a different store and they were happy to accommodate me.
But this Manager is just so off, he was so rude and disrespectful. Okay I get it, maybe this store has a different policy but he didn’t handle the situation professionally and it’s so disappointing.

I agree with what was said above. The store refuses to accept items for return or even exchange them for a store card. I am upset and intend to move on! than this comment.

The employee refused to return the items I had couponed the day before. The locker rooms were closed and I had no opportunity to try on clothes in the store. I am outraged.

H&M at Crabtree would not let me keep the hanger for the blazer I just bought. So now I have to bring my own bag AND my own hanger to H&M? If I didn't need this blazer for tomorrow, I would have left it right there. Won't shop at H&M anymore.

I find it frustrating I have to give this store even 1 star. Not that I ever intent to shop at H&M but I would also recommend anyone else avoid shopping here.
I had purchased online clothing for my child for family pictures and when received they were too big. I found everything in store in the correct size and what should have been a simple exchange was denied by the store. While I cannot understand their policy what was even more frustrating is how rude and condensing the manager was. And after seeing other reviews you can tell this is culture of this particular location.
After calling customer service to find out if this was their policy, I do not feel like I was given a clear answer. And told to exchange through the website but I needed this in a short time frame so they will just completely lose this sale. Not that one sale matters much to corporate but if people continue to receive this kind of customer service I would have to think that would it start to hurt their bottom line. Do better serving your customers!

Bravo, H&M, truly a masterclass in bad service. I tried to return some clothes I bought online for my kid, only to be told you ‘don’t carry those sizes’ in-store, so no return for me. Makes perfect sense, right? Except it didn’t feel like it was really about the return policy—it felt like you just didn’t want to help a Black customer. It’s 2024, and apparently, I still can’t expect equal treatment when shopping. Thanks for reminding me where not to spend my money. I’ll gladly take it elsewhere.

One of the male associates who claimed to be a store manager was unreasonably rude and unprofessional when I was at this location. I unintentionally went to the wrong place to check out, not being too familiar with this store's layout, but the way he spoke to me and informed me of my mistake was very rude. His tone and word choice was inappropriate given the situation and was also unprofessional, and he still continued to have a disrespectful attitude and act annoyed even when I told him that I didn't realize I was in the wrong spot. The store also was very disorganized, and some merchandise was not sorted correctly or didn't have a price. So disappointed by my shopping experience here.

They closed the store 15min prior to closing time, we went at 7.46 and the person shut the door at our face and asked us to visit next day 😂

The store manager closes the store before 8pm. I drove my wife all the way from across town for her to pick up an item that she didn’t get during her prior visit. I dropped her off at the curb at 7:53pm and she was back to the car by 7:57pm disappointed that the store manager denied her the opportunity to buy the one item she came to get. He literally told her no and the store was not busy. I’m sure it’s against the mall’s rules for stores to close early. Oscar at customer service told me it was fine to quote him and states a manager can arbitrarily close the store early to prepare for closing. This makes no sense because you can’t trust the actual operating hours. And you can’t speak to any leadership that’s higher than Oscar or this store manager. We are never going back.
