I witnessed Jiffy Lube scam several women telling them their windshield wipers would not pass inspection and then charge them $90 for new wipers so they will pass. But when my it was husband’s turn they said nothing about wiper blades. Clearly trying to scam women thinking they don’t know better

They are careless when working on people’s expensive cars, they could of caused lots of damage by not putting parts back correctly after taken them apart , luckily I caught it when I drove home, and they are very unprofessional and rude, I will not be back at that location

I normally get my car inspections at Jiffy Lube on Capital Blvd near 540. But today, 12/19, they told me there was some issue and it would be a while before they would get to me, and recommended a different location. So tried this Atlantic Ave Jiffy Lube. I was greeted quickly and told where to park and to please go to the waiting room. After an hour or so went to the counter to ask why it was taking so long, and was told there were jobs ahead of me and it would be a while before I would be finished. Am sure their service would have been fine, but I really should have been told they would not be able to get to me for over an hour.

great people working here... should cover floormats to avoid oiling mine...also signature service is not 59.99. now you have to pay extra $7.99 for toilet paper, wipes, etc as "shop supplies".

On 12/1/24 got my truck inspection 30 for inspection 10 for window tint (light enough to not need a meter FYI I did vehicle inspections for 10+ years) marker light 17.99(total highway robbery) but I didn't want the hassle of fail buy bulb replacement of bulb and reinspection (time and money value) but 5.99 shop supplies they DIDNT USE ANY TOOL I WATCHED THEM GO FROM THE FENDER WELL ON A 2018 TUNDRA CREWMAX!!!! LAST INSPECTION OR ANYTHING FROM JIFFY SCREW!! and I'll be contacting DMV, BBB and anyone else for this rip off

My husband took our car to get the oil changed, tires rotated and alignment last Wednesday before Thanksgiving. However, when we got the car back we could not drive our car. We could not go anywhere on Thanksgiving due to this or felt safe to drive our car. He took the car back on Friday at 8am. They told us a pebble was stuck between the brakes and the tire. Our car was completely fine before they touched it. They told us they took all of the tires off again and to check them. That was a lie. Our car still did not feel safe to drive. Saturday between 11-12pm my husband went back to them and again they made up another lie. We finally decided to take our car somewhere else to be looked at. They caused us $580 worth of damage-our tire was about to fall off, destroyed the lug nuts and the bearings and more. We have tried to contact the store multiple times and no one will speak with us, we get put on hold or now they do not answer!!! Do not take your car to this place! Horrible experience and staff! We will be contacting corporate as well.

They charge $7.99 shop supplies for every car that comes in the door and they charged me $10 for tinted windows on an inspection. $47.99 normal car inspection there. $35 at Peoples. I would have given a 1star but girl up front is nice.

I went to Jiffy Lube's for a car inspection on October 15, 2024. My car inspection was a $45.99. When I question the technician about my car inspection and the price, the technician stated that car inspection of North Carolina is $30 and because my windows were tinted that was an additional $10.
They also up charge me for shop supplies $5.99, which I didn't purchase anything at the shop. My inspection receipt says $40 but then my Jiffy Lube receipt says $45.99. I will phone corporate for a refund of the $5.99

Staff are nice but not happy with their new upsales tactics. Went for a simple state inspection and found them opening up air filters checking to try and sale new filters. This has nothing to do with state inspection! Don't go looking around without asking first! Did this to everyone that was there for inspection! Will probably be finding another place for my inspections from now on.

I had just had an expensive repair done to my car which involved replacing a very expensive shifter cable. I stopped at this Juffy Lube for a state inspection.
Whomever drove my car at Jiffy Lube obviously had never driven a stick shift and literally stripped my gears. My car would not move out of first gear.
I was told the manager would be in touch. I didn’t believe that and I was right.
I will drive further to go to the Jiffy Lube that served me right for several years.
Very disappointed in this branch and the service.

Stopped for an inspection because no one was there. They advised that my filters needed to be changed I opted to have one replaced. They did NOT advise me that they had to order it. I'm just waiting meanwhile another car comes in gets an oil change and leaves before I do. I had to ask if they had to order the part. Rep then advised yes, and it should be there shortly. 55 minutes passed...then my inspection failed due to the tint! They didn't even give me the option to say well let me take it off!! I paid $45 plus dollars, waited an hour for a filter that I did Not get and when they replaced my old filter something is wrong bc my AC is loud! Something was not placed back right. I live 45 minutes away and the ONLY reason I stopped was because of their name and they were NOT busy! Never again! Time wasted. Money wasted!
