Was added to their mailing list simply because I listed my property. I called and spoke to Jill and when I asked to have my address removed, she responded with "ok. You won't receive anything else."Her statement was made prior to me even providing her with any other information so there was no way she could submit a request for removal. When I commented how that could be when I hadn't provided the name/address, Jill quipped "what's the address?"So much for professional customer service.

This is the second long distance move I have used Johns Moving in a year. All four crews were hard workers and intent on getting the job done efficiently. They were very methodical in packing my belongings into the truck. I would advise anyone to use them and would again if needed.

Best moving company I have ever worked with. The movers were super nice and were very open to feedback. They moved us from a 2500 sf home to a 3100sf home all in one day. Nothing damaged! I recommend anyone looking for quality, professional, reasonably priced movers to contact John’s Movers!!

I was highly impressed with this office move. John's Moving & Storage team was responsible for picking up the furniture in Durham, NC and relocating to Greenville, SC. The 3 guys that handled our delivery and installation of furniture were professional, kind, nice, and personable. I felt very comfortable around them all. They worked proficiently and quickly! I would hire them again.

John’s Moving & Storage completed our move to our new home on 5/12/2023. Stan and Team did a phenomenal job ensuring our items were properly wrapped and moved to their new home in quick step with zero damage. Outstanding customer service from the office to the field. Jill was very flexible and accommodating as our situation continually evolved. Highly, highly recommend using John’s Moving & Storage. Many thanks to all who had a hand in our move. You made the moving process much less stressful for us.

My wife and I worked with John's Moving & Storage when we moved out of our house and into our new house. Having the ability to store the furniture is a huge advantage. Both moving teams were on time and worked very hard to finish on time. If there was any confusion, the team would ask me before they moved anything. That gave me a lot of trust in them! Magan was very helpful in communicating times and schedule. Highly recommend!

The guys arrived late to move us. As a result they finished up late in the day. The guys spent time on their cell phones when they should be working. They did get all of our belongings moved in one day.

I hired Johns Moving and storage to move and store my belongings. They damaged a good deal of my furniture. My dressers have scratches, marks and dents on them now. They ripped part of my favorite bed frame upholstery and there is a large stain on my mattress which I can't understand how is possible since they told me they bagged it. To add insult, they packed my lamp shades and ALL of them are dented and damaged. I would definitely hire someone else to do your move.

Buyer beware. Hired John's Moving and Storage to assist with a local move and a storage period of 60 days. The pricing was expensive, but competitive and they had availability during the timeframes I needed. The logistics and interacting with John's Moving started off really well, until actual move time came around. We paid extra for the full value coverage for possible damages, and took care to list all expensive items on their 'high value' item list for the paperwork. When they initiate the move process, they make a really big deal about how they are the professional movers and all owner packed boxes aren't covered, and items that they pack they are fully responsible for. We accepted, and the only items that were 'professionally' packed by Johns Moving and Storage were large/heavy (and expensive) items we could not pack ourselves (refrigerator, patio table set, ceramic grill, dining room set, etc.). Of course, we had all these on the high value list also. Well come move-in day, every item they 'professionally' packed had damage. Leather couch was ripped, dining room chairs were had arms snapped, ceramic kamado grill was cracked and chipped, every stainless steel panel on the refrigerator was dented and scratched, patio set was dented and scratched, etc. The move process was poorly managed and best practices for moving things were not enforced. Heavy items were not put on dollies or quads and were dragged across the hardwood floors causing damage to the newly refinished wood. Washing machine was hooked up to the water lines incorrectly and flooded the laundry room causing water damage. The quality of the handling of our valuable items and respect for our home was horrible. Negligent moving practices, and poor management. Of course, claims for all damage were filed, and we did receive a check to cover the damage, but ONLY for the dining room chairs and couch. Everything else was either denied or we were only given $25 or $50 'cosmetic' credits when the remaining damage is thousands of dollars to repair or replace. John's is refusing to reimburse or provide additional coverage. Such a headache...and now we need to look at pursuing other legal action to avoid getting steamrolled. My word of advice is to avoid this company for your move. If you have anything that is large and difficult to move, it will be damaged, and you will not be taken care of afterwards. Either spend more money on a reputable moving company to avoid the hassle, or spend way less money on some college kids that will gladly break your things for way less money. I try not to leave negative reviews, but this move experience with John's has been a terrible experience.

Horrible experience with them! Broke the legs off my grandmothers dining room table and damaged several other pieces of furniture. Claims filed wouldn’t replace what we had. Also crushed our wedding glasses and 50 year old china in boxes that were clearly marked yet packed on the bottom of heavier boxes. Would do anything about that since, they didn’t pack it. No compassion for completely irreplaceable items. Beware!!!!

No! My elderly mother just paid them $10,157.00 They had to move her from one house to her new house less than 50 miles away. She had a crew of 5-6 men each time they came. They were late 3 of the 5 days and left early one day because of the heat.They loaded heavy boxes on boxes marked fragile.They chipped many pieces of furniture. Also just as many pieces of lamps, table legs, and other items were just plain lost.No way would I recommend this company to anyone.

Last week 1/25, I had the opportunity to work with 3 wonderful guys of John’s Moving and Storage. The experience from the beginning to the end of our move was a great experience. They were professional and did a great job! Thank you John’s Moving Team!
