I don’t know how my review was deleted but it needs to remain on this site FOREVER. I actually hate this company. It cost me more to keep buying and putting oil in the piece of junk 2011 Touareg. I was ripped off. This car has needle is broken. I don’t know if I need gas or not because the needle doesn’t move when I get gas most of the time. I have ran out of gas twice ever since I had the piece of junk. Yes LEITH VOLKSWAGEN OF RALEIGH SALE’S JUNK CARS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. Furthermore once you buy the car they want you to pay them to fix the car problems as if they didn’t know the car was already a piece of junk when they sold it. I am highly upset. I’ve had this car since October 8th 2024. It has had this problem the entire time. I hate the day I drove to the parking lot to waste over $8,000 cash. The manager and the salesmen Keith should be ashamed. (ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER) wanted me to pay them $200 for a diagnostic and I didn’t even have the car 3 whole days.

Friendly staff. Vinnie was great to work with and helped me find a vehicle that was within my budget. He didn't try to pressure me to buy beyond my means. He also followed up with me afterward to see how I was enjoying my new car and ask if I had any questions or issues.

This rating is for the service department. I have brought my Volkswagen here for almost 10 years and they have always done very good work. Parts can sometimes be expensive but it is due to all being VW branded and guaranteed by them. Over the years I have worked with Larry, Joe, and Adam as service advisors and all have been tremendously helpful to me.

Working with our salesperson, Cameron, and his management team was a very pleasant experience especially since much of our interaction was remote since we live out of town. They pulled everything together and when we came in to do the signing and pick up of the new car, it went like clockwork! Highly recommended.

Buy beware the use rubbing alcohol on all there vehicles.I see why the car we just bought from them that we are having to have the hood repaint plus watch your taxes if u buy out of state the try to get 300 bucks out of us a week later honestly I would look elsewhere if I had a way to get ahold of the owner I would .we are having to pay out of pocket to have this fixed and it’s not cheap their plus I want to add one of the mangers said writing a review it’s not going to make us give u money we don’t want money we want it fixed.
Update we had to fill under are insurance almost 5k worth of damage was done thank god for insurance cause the dealership for hell want going to pay

Juan was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He let me test-drive every car I wanted with zero pressure and all the patience in the world. He was laid back, knowledgeable, and genuinely focused on helping me find the car that fit me best rather than trying to push a sale. I ended up with the perfect car, and the process couldn’t have been smoother. I can’t recommend him enough! truly the best! And he made sure we were hydrated the whole time!

Amazing Service! Larry from the Service department at Leith VW is one in a million. He went out of his way to give 1000% customer service. I always new what was happening with my car and when to expect a call. He thoroughly looked over the issues I was having and gave me sound advice. I will be coming back again if I ever have any issues. You will be in good hands at this dealerships service center with honest and fair reccomendations.

GO TO THE ONE IN CARY!!!! I’ve brought my Tiguan in that I purchased feb 2024 6 different times for the check engine light and the car bucking when I drive it. They continued to tell me there was nothing wrong with the car. I bring it to the Cary dealership for a second opinion and they find 4 things wrong with the car, 2 of those that could be causing the bucking. Don’t waste your time here if you own a Volkswagen. They just make excuses and very poor customer service.

My beautiful 2017 tiguan "factory inspected" as the salesman Daneil stated " every inch of this vehicle has been inspected " The panoramic sunroof has defective inner drainage tubing. This tubing cracks and splits. It is a known defective system , reports of this ongoing problem have been reported as early as 2012. Volkswagon continues to install this same defective tubing in all newer vehicles. Never even opened my sunroof and 1 year ago my carpets were saturated. My new best friend is the weather Channel. If it rains I cover it. Make sure you buy a waterproof one. I attempted to contact volswagon, both service and my salesman. Got a scripted answer, one i jad been warned may happen. " you should have serviced your sunroof". There is not one word of sunroof maintenance in the service mabual or anywhere in the owners manual. This vehicle was the only gift i got from my father. His hard earned money was a last guft on his dying bed to me. I cherished this car. Volkswagon knows these parts are defective and sold me it anyways. Upon on invesrigation the vehicle was a lease and originally came from Seatle. Found out a dealership in Seatle had already patched the tubing. I spoke wuth tge technition who did the patching. Now Isee why it was sold out of the rainy area of Washington. It's heartbreaking. I sure hope they fix it for me with no hasstle and and no cost for me !!!. Going in today to speak wuth the general manager of Leith volkswsgon in raleigh. Wish me luck. Im afraid ill need it.Lynn Medlin

Consistently awful experiences here. I went in for an oil change about a month and a half ago and they also checked my check engine light, and they told me I needed a new PCV valve. Weeks went by and I hadn’t heard anything, so I called and after being tossed around to a half dozen different people, I was finally told by the mechanic who worked with me that they had no record of the order but he remembered it and wasn’t sure why he didn’t see it anywhere. He said he’d call me back by the end of the day and let me know it had been ordered and when I could expect it, as well as whether or not it was safe to drive in the meantime. Weeks later, still haven’t gotten that call. Called back since, keep getting tossed around on the phones and no actual answers.
Today, I’m at a different VW dealer in the area (already decided I wouldn’t go back to Leith) dealing with an oil leak in the car. Without any of this background, they told me the problem may have been a bad PCV valve. Would’ve been nice if that had been taken care of a month and a half ago when Leith said it would be—would’ve saved a whole different problem now.
Avoid this location, try another dealer in the area.

I just bought a VW Atlas from Keith W. and Jim C at Leith VW of Raleigh. The whole team made the process very smooth and easy, especially since I was traveling from out of town. It was well worth the drive. I will be recommending them to anyone looking for a car in the future. Thanks for all you do!

After a poor initial contact I got a second sales person and he was so caring about what I was looking for, he invested a lot of time with me, showed me all offers and gave me extra information also the manager called me to discuss about my interest and made an extra offer, they do care about clients.

If you want your time wasted this dealer for you!! I have inquired about a car and have been ghosted by two different salespeople.
Someone asked me if I’ve been reached out too since and I said no… and nobody has taken the time to reach back out. Dealership is too busy for you busy!
