Since when is it okay to just stare down a customer with the dirtiest look and attitude become the norm? Well it happened tonight with the young punk. He just stared me down until I walked up to the register with no “hello” “how can I help you?” Not a word! I had to tell him what I wanted to order without him saying ONE word. Insane. No way am I supporting businesses who have employees with complete attitudes and no customer service skills ANYMORE! The only reason this is getting a two star is because the lobster BLT I ordered was good otherwise it would be a one star across the board. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Very overpriced for what you get compared to other Lobster Roll places we've visited. The size of the roll is is very small and the customer service wasn't the best and needs improving. It's unfortunate but we did not have a first time great experience at Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls at North Hills in Raleigh and went away still hungry!

I came at 7 pm to pick up a sandwich to go, and even though there was no one else in the entire restaurant, the young man working there ignored me for about 5 minutes. Then he gave me a regular sandwich even though I paid for twice the meat. Good thing I checked it before leaving! Then he overcooked the lobster tail that he added to the sandwich, and the meat was tough and inedible. Plus the meat he had put on it before that was so fishy tasting, it was very obvious that this was not fresh lobster. I paid $30. for something I ended up throwing into the trash. I do not recommend this restaurant.

We stay in a hotel right next to here and stubble across this hidden treasure while taking a walk, lol. You would think this was just a quick fast food restaurant. When you walk in, it's simple and quaint, but when once you taste the food!! This restaurant sells gourmet food. We absolutely loved and enjoyed the lobster rolls. It's buttery and crunchy on the outside. The inside was juicy and cheesy with a hint of lemon butter garlic. The lobster was cooked perfectly, just melting in your mouth. The lobster mac and cheese was amazing as well. The flavors tasted similar just on noodles. I'm so glad we tried both. The prices are a little pricey but definitely worth it. I definitely recommend ?.

Very attentive and helpful staff. Tasty lobster menu items. Would love a few more combo items or the option for a fountain drink. However the beverages they do have are nice and a bit of a treat. This isn't the northeast, you're going to play a premium for lobster but at least it's delicious!

If your going to charge me $40+ for one Connecticut roll and Mac n cheese then the roll better be on a hoagie roll (I'm a big guy and that small roll was a snack to me for $20) i understand lobster is expensive but at least make the portion size fair. Also the Mac n cheese was cold not warm. The lobster Mac n cheese needed some kind of seasoning to bring the dish together because it tasted like two separate dishes. Service was great. The atmosphere was great just a little smoky inside.

The Connecticut was amazing and that buttered bread was so good. I wish prices for lobster meat weren't so high or I would come in more often. Nice staff too.

Mason's does not disappoint with the taste and quality of their lobster rolls. That said, you'll pay over $30 for a lobster roll, chips, and bottled drink. The woman working the day I was there was friendly and down to earth. If you gotta have a lobster roll in Raleigh, this is the place to get it quickly. If you're looking for ambiance and a fancy meal... well, there are other restaurants in the Triangle.Parking: Best parking is in the underground garage.Kid-friendliness: Nothing offensive here. Small "eat & go" tables.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entrance.

Came in on a whim for an early dinner / late snack. There were a couple of people waiting for their orders, one grumbling loudly about the wait. There were two staff, both very young, who were clearly scrambling to calm the one customer down and make the orders. Eventually several big bags came out and everyone else left.I ordered a classic lobstah roll, tots, and a bottle of water. Thoughts:* Classic Roll: disappointing. I know shrinkflation is a real thing but the lobster didn't fill the roll. There wasn't much butter or lemon and consequently not much taste. On the plus side, the lobster was tender and not over cooked.* Tater tots: decent. Would have been better if they are were cooked longer. A little too salty for my taste. The whole experience was ok but I think I'll stick to eating lobster in Maine and Boston.

Food is always good here. Portion is acceptable, wish that the Connecticut roll wasn’t room temperature when served.Staffs could have wiped off the crud on the table so it would be cleaner.Parking: Limited 10 min parking
