It's a shame the food has gone down hill over the years. They've changed vendors or something. Our orders are never right. And unless I cut a piece off of the fish right there I can't tell it's not right until I get home and we start eating it. Sad.

Stopped here after work and picked up three plates to have dinner with my parents. They show you the food in the boxes which was fine. But then they hand you a brown paper bag that's supposed to have all your condiments, Cole slaw, ECT. I asked if it was everything for all three plates and was assured that it was. When I got to where I was going 20 miles away I had one of each condiment for three plates with three baked potatoes sharing one sour cream and one coleslaw to split between us. Very disappointed because I enjoy tartar and cocktail sauce with my seafood and it kind of ruins the whole meal to not have it. Called and was offered a discount on my next order. Just not sure if I'm going to be back to use it.

I was a bit concerned about the sanitation grade. It was 92, and although passing from the managerial lens, I would have appreciated a higher grade.

It was a great dinner with my beautiful wife and I really enjoyed stopping in and eating at one of our favorite places to eat. I really appreciated how the server went out of her way to make us feel like we were the only patrons that matter. Great experience at this restaurant.

I am definitely coming more often. Mayflower's week day specials drive a hard bargain! You can't refuse perfection in every bite, well , I can't. It's going to be my once a week for sure.

Plenty of parking and excellent service, however the food was horrible everything was bland. I’m going to give this site benefit of doubt and say it was a bad day for the cook. Emptied half a bottle of hot sauce and 5-8 lemons on a bland flounder. The okra was good and the water was fantastic.

I love this restaurant! I got a make your own combo (any two) with fried jumbo shrimp and baby fried baby shrimp, with a baked potato and sweet tea. It had been a long time since I visited them, so there were some things that had changed. New items offered more variety. My daughter loved this fact. She got a ribeye with baked potato. However, I ordered the same thing I had in the past. Their new hushpuppies do have onions in them, but not overwhelming enough to ruin them. They did charge $0.75 per 1/3 ramkin (little sauce cup) of cheese and we needed 2 each, but I love cheese on my potatoes. If you are cool with butter and sour cream, they are offered free of charge.

From the reception at the entrance to the moment of paying, everything was very good, the food, the service, the dessert, the coffee!! Bravo.

Restaurant smelled like a nursing home. Saturday night and the restaurant was virtually empty. Food wasn’t hot or seasoned. My daughter’s mac-n-cheese had a piece of plastic in it. To top it all off, they charge you an extra 3% to pay with a credit card like it 1993! Nobody uses cash in 2024. That food should’ve been free anyway. I would not recommend this for anyone.

I have been eating at Mayflower for decades and have always been very satisfied; however, tonight I ordered the four-choice combo on Door Dash and was disappointed, to say the least. The flounder was almost all breading with a thin slice of fish in the middle, and the stuffed crab cake had absolutely no flavor. I ordered calabash shrimp and received boiled shrimp, which also had no flavor. The hushpuppies were undercooked. The only positive about this order was the oysters, which were fairly large and flavorful. I do not expect delivered food to rise to the level of that served on site, but this food was mostly so bad that it now resides in the trash. Do not order delivery from Mayflower.

The flounder was so greasy and the shrimp were extremely fishy smelling and tasting. The best was the cornbread and fries. Service was good. We will not be back.
