Steve and Rick are the best. Me and my mom have been dealing with them for years. They are very honest and not out for money. I called at the last minute to get my transmission work on and they squeezed me in and got the job done super fast and satisfied. They even let me know other things that was wrong with my van. You will not be disappointed.

Let me tell y'all something. If honest mechanics were in the dictionary, Steve and Ricky pictures would be next to it. I was originally at Precision Tune, my go to because of the proximity to my job but there was a code that pointed to my transmission and they did not have the tools to further diagnose the issue, so I called around and Messer Transmission was the shop that could get me in the same day. They told me like it was and even fixed another issue that I had no idea was going on, mind you I have mentioned to other shops in the past that I was feeling jerking when I take off and put my car into drive and they never investigated nor even hinted to what it might be. Well Steve and Ricky figured it out, they even told me that what I actually came in for might not be the problem and they didn't even want to touch the supposed "problem" because it wasn't a problem they seen too often. Of course it could be just my luck but I was so happy to find out that they weren't after money but after GREAT service. They have the mindset, that when you bring your car in, they want it to be perfect when you pick it up. My car didn't even do the "problem" I came in for during the test drive (of course, right! Now that I was getting in fixed. The problem was non-existent) But anyways Steve and Ricky fixed my motor mount, which I found out was broken in 3 places (pictures to prove it) and replaced my solenoid block for my transmission (This is what I came in for, but they gave me an option to get it or not, because they were completely honest with me, telling me it was 50/50 chance this could fix the "problem") So I opted for it because if it doesn't then at least we know it's not that. BUT THANK GOD, it fixed it. Because of my motor mount and the block my car runs smoother than when I first purchased it. Thank you so much to Messer Transmission, INC (Steve and Ricky). You will get my continued service and everyone who needs a referral I will send them you way!!!I wish I would of taken a video of my engine lifts 3 inches from the mount when acceleration was applied.

Steve and Ricky are honest and know what they are doing! We thought our transmission was bad in our 2002 Impala, and they called to let us know that the transmission was fine! It needed a catalytic converter.They also put a clutch in my 1976 Dodge Ramcharger and my 2006 Toyota Corolla.

Really couldn’t be more grateful and impressed with the service. My transmission went out and had to be rebuilt. They quoted me a fair price and said it could be completed in a week - but evidently after they got inside they realized I used it for work so the guys worked overtime and had it ready after 2 days so I could get back to business. I did not request this timeline. They just knocked it out and called me 5 days earlier than expected asking me when I was available to pick up. Mechanics are so difficult to trust but this shop has earned my family’s business for life.Service: Transmission

Steve Messer knows transmission work and offers warranty. Family business local.I'm happy with the rebuild..new tax on labor isn't that great ..and he hates charging customers for it.

Could not have been to a more honest place to help me with my vehicle issues! I was freaking out over the transmission issues. I had done my homework about the problem and called around for the right place to take care of my car. These guys truly looked after me- shot it straight- no hidden anything. Customer service was above & beyond! Communication was awesome. The fact that I got follow up phone calls just to make sure all was well topped it all off. I have a 1994 Ford Explorer Limited.The transmission went out on me from work.So i got it towed there, they diagnosed my problemsame day. They didn’t offer services that I didn’t need.And I really appreciate that. These guys are straight forward. ?? I’m serious it suprised me because they had my transmission rebuilt next day. They don’t play around, very humble guys. I highly recommend and respect them. Shops been around for over 50 or 60 years. ( rebuilt transmission at 243,000 miles) and still going.Service: Transmission

They fixed my transmission, where ever other shop said it needed to be replaced/rebuilt. I have now driven it for 3 years with no issues.
