I recently became an emerald member of national car rental and I have to say that every time I've dealt with them it's been a great experience. Every single person that I've dealt with has been very very nice very helpful and made me feel like a VIP. And it's so easy and hassle free being a emerald member to just go right to the row of cars and pick what I want and get out of the airport as soon as possible and the same thing when returning a car it's a hassle-free experience and again everyone always asks how I'm doing how is the experience with the car and anything they can do to make it better for me. The only thing better would be the availability of cars. I fly into Raliegh quite a bit now and need a truck to haul product, but I haven't had one available even when I request it on my reservation. Other than that, the service has always been top notch and getting in and skipping service counters (other than checking out) is a huge win and very efficient for me.

As always, National met my expectations. Great customer service and very easy to pick up rental. The only reason I gave it a 3-star was because this location in Raleigh, NC did not have an after hours drop off. My flight leaving at 6:00am and the location didn’t open till 4:30am. I had to drop my rental the night before and ask a co-worker to drop and pick me up from my hotel.

Hello National/Enterprise,I gave four stars because your frequent renter rewards program does not benefit me, the renter. It is extremely difficult to actually save enough free days to have a free rental car for a week (seven days). The only reason I rent and use your product is because the company that I work for forces me to rent from National/Enterprise exclusively, under penalty of termination of employment.I have been a "road warrior" for the past 30 years and based on my extensive travel experience, your program is laughable compared to the other rental car company whose name begins with "H" and uses the colors yellow and black. For example, with your highest level renter program "Executive Elite": I have to actually book five separate rentals to get one free rental day.With the equivalent level President's Circle program from "Company H" I need to accumulate 950 points to get one free rental day (One dollar spent equals 1.5 points). That comes out to two separate rentals. So in direct comparison, 5 rentals at National gets me one free day, whereas 2 rentals at "Company H" get me one free day. Clearly, the President's Circle program at "Company H" is a much better value for my money than Executive Elite at National.To get SEVEN days free with National, I would have to make 35 separate rentals. To get the same amount of free days at "Company H", I only need 14 rentals. So clearly the program at National is inferior to the program at "Company H". Ergo, you only get two stars.

The staff both in picking up and dropping off were very friendly and helpful. Special note of thanks to the driver on the way back from the airport. She was cut off by a Hertz van, not sure how she missed. I slid on the seat and hit the floor but am perfectly fine. She called it in to the dispatcher.

Picked up my car on Jan 6 for a weekend rental. Had the opportunity to work with Alex, professional, courteous and customer driven. I am in the Executive Club and an SUV driver. They had a nice selection of RAVs and other but not quite hitting the mark for me. Long story short..he helped me find a suitable vehicle, helped with the operation and got started on my way. Alex and team members like him keep me coming back.

I have been an Executive Emerald Club member with National for many years and I consistently find National Car Rental to be a great car rental experience. My recent rental was no different. Great selection of new cars to choose from. Kind friendly professional service from all National employees. Excellent experience with the cars for the duration I rent them.

After going to 2 other rental car places in Raleigh N.C and having both unwilling to help because the chip in my credit card was not working, I ended up at National. Katie at the counter quickly realized the issue and worked with me to secure a car despite not having a reservation. She was extremely helpful and had several ideas on how for us to get around the malfunctioning chip. Because of her amazing service I was able to secure my rental and be on the road in less than 20 min. National will be my first choice every time they are available because of this.

I love the Emerald Club experience. It's the easiest and most stress-free car rental experience I've known. I always have good selections, the cars are very clean, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful at check-out and return. Thanks, National.

Making the reservation, to picking up and returning the vehicle were really easy. I had great customer service in all parts of the rental. The only feedback I’d give is to make sure customers are better able to distinguish if the rental is through Enterprise or National. We were confused and went to Enteprise, but then received excellent help in getting us to where we needed to be.

I have been using the Emerald Isle for many years and it has always been so easy and convenient. The selection of vehicles has always accommodated my travel needs with each vehicle being in top working condition. This particular drop off at RDU I had a National employee Trey who showed above and beyond service. He helped me unload my rental and was kind enough to point out heated lights where I could stand while waiting in the cold to be picked up. Trey is very kind, helpful, and offered assistance without being prompted. I miss this level of kindness from most people, so it’s awesome to see it still exists!

National provided AMAZING customer service! We were on vacation and had valeted our car at the Marriott hotel in Raleigh. The hotel lost the keys to the car. We immediately called National and they were able to set up a tow and took care of us the entire way. I talked with Leslie at road-side assistance who was very calm and ensured they would take care of it. Then when we got to the Raleigh branch, Conan took care of everything. He said he would contact me when the car got back and waived all the late-fee and towing charges! He said it wasn't our fault and felt bad that we had this issue on our vacation. I want to sincerely thank Conan and Leslie for helping make an unfortunate situation better! Highly recommend NATIONAL!

This branch was very professional and run very efficiently. I especially have to give thanks to Tomas. He was incredibly helpful and was able to get me a car when my original booking didn't work out. He really went above and beyond to find a solution. Highly appreciative and would definitely rent from here again.

My rental car exhibited a few problems this week while I was in North Carolina. The switch for the bright lights was broken and there was a tire pressure light that remained on despite multiple attempts to add air to the tires. However, my experience when returning the vehicle to RDU was nothing short of fantastic. Upon return, the National representative, Marie, was swift, efficient, friendly, and determined to ensure that I was completely satisfied with my rental. National, she is a gem and you are lucky to have this kind of employee interfacing with your customers!
