This is a great place. Very competitive prices - best I’ve found in the area. Neil is great, and stands by his work with a competitive warranty on parts and labor. This is a very reliable, trustworthy place to get work done on your vehicle. I won’t go elsewhere.

It's always scary when an old woman takes a car into a shop. My first thought was they're going to rip me off for more money than I could possibly afford North Raleigh, Automotive and Radiator did not do that. Neal was friendly and above all did not talk down to me. They fixed my car quickly and kept me informed every step of the way.

I received excellent diagnostics on my vehicle. North Raleigh Automotive & Radiator offers great service, advice for extending the life of SUVs, and fair prices for their repair work. They are conveniently located, trustworthy, experienced, & also perform NC inspections.

5 STARS! North Raleigh Automotive & Radiator Service did a professional job installing a new water pump, belt, and thermostat on my 2007 Buick! My car was leaking fluid and I was desperate to have repaired. Neil gave me a very reasonable repair quote and the final repair bill was even less than the quote. While I was at the shop, Neil was very honest and patient with me as he answered my many questions before and after the repairs were done and I very much appreciate that. I also can't thank Neil enough for the prompt communication (including email), courtesy, and transparent diagnosis of what my car needed and didn't need. I sensed honesty and experience in Neil. Not sure who actually worked on my car but I thank that person very much for the outstanding professional detailed job on the repairs and treating my car with respect including not leaving scratches and dings! My car has been running like new since Neil and his team repaired it! Overall, the business is very clean and well organized and I find that a good sign of well run business. Before finding North Raleigh Automotive & Radiator Service, I contacted three other repair shops in the area and immediately decided to never let them touch my car. Good honest auto repair shops are hard to find these days so North Raleigh Automotive & Radiator Service is my one and only car repair shop from now on! Thanks Neil, 5 STARS! How I've lived here for 34 years and not known about this place is beyond me! I have a 1970 Plymouth that was being restored until the restorer passed away in 2016. We never got to fix the AC. A guy on Nextdoor recommended this place and what a gold mine! The owner is a straight shooter - said he'd have a look and try to fix - not really having any idea what wasn't working (compressor etc.) they were able to fix it - in a day!! I was bracing for a steep price - but they were beyond fair. I will be back and I highly recommend!!

Being from out of state, I was lucky to find this place. They made me an appointment the same week I called. I originally made an appointment to diagnose the problem. I suspected I'd make another appointment to get it fixed. They gave me an estimate. And we got the parts coming. Fixed it that same day!
Because I did not have a ride. I had to wait in the showroom the entire time. There were a lot of people coming to drop vehicles off. I talked with a few people that were also waiting. They told me it's the only place around that you should go to have work done on your vehicle.
I feel the same way. I hope this review helps someone else that is looking for a place to go in need of vehicle repairs.

I’ve been in the area for over 4 years now! Neal and his team are the BEST! He’s always up front and honest. These guys are the only mechanics me and my husband let service ANYTHING on our vehicles!
