My dog Duke and I have been coming here since they opened and everyone that volunteers and works for this great organization needs to be commended for the good work that they are doing.A special shout out to Joy who is always professional and a pleasure to interact with, and of course Caroline who is always friendly and extremely diligent at the checkout. If you have not been here, make plans to visit soon! I’d give them 10 stars if that was an option.

Unhelpful, rude. I've tried 2x to purchase a large piece of furniture. You're store has been rude and Unhelpful. You've had the furniture for almost 3 months. The volunteers should maybe do roadside pick because customers service is not their strong suit. Perhaps something with less people engagement would be better suited. Happy Holidays!

I love this store for clothing, toys, and water bottles (which we are always losing), office supplies, and hangers. They also have a decent selection of jewelry, pots and pans, and lamps/home accessories, but those items are always overpriced (sometimes outrageously so!), so I’ve never bought them. I think they’d make more money if those items were priced a little more appropriately.

Ridiculous price for standard brand names. Don’t waste your time. The place is messy and tight to get around.

Laughably high prices on shoes and clothes these days. I went a year ago and loved it although their prices were a little steep on some things then, they had nice quality stuff at least. However I have noticed a sharp increase in pricing and a sharp decrease in quality as of late. All dresses are $10, even cheap Walmart and Target brand ones that barely cost more than that new. All men's shoes are $12, even cheaply made flip flops in terrible condition. I noticed many things on the shelves this time that should have just been thrown away, things with stains and huge holes but they slapped a $10-$20 price tag on them and put them out anyway. See my pics for proof, a pair of Sorel boots with a huge gaping hole in the toe for $16?! I think the best one of all was the plain Talbots dress that they had priced at $49.99. Dont even get me started on their use of marker on their clothes. So I get to pay almost full retail price for a used dress with permanent marker inside? Cool cool. Again, proof is in the pictures. Gave them two stars anyway because at least I found a bug catcher for my son for $2. I hope they change their recent pricing policies and vet their items a little more closely before stocking them in the future.

What theyre doing for low income families that request financial assistance is a wonderful thing, BUT those same low income families cannot afford to shop at regular stores and theyre coming to the thrift shop for a deal. $10 for dresses is NOT a good deal. As an avid thrift shopper I’ve never seen dresses priced for more than $5-6 per dress. I had no summer dresses that fit me this year and could not afford a new wardrobe. I found many cute dresses here but couldn’t afford $50 for 5 dresses. A bit much for a thrift shop. Not to mention the same dresses are there for weeks and weeks, that’s because no one wants to pay that much AND most are out of style. Y’all should seriously consider lowering the base price for dresses.

My favorite thrift store by FAR! Everything is clean and organized and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. My favorite section is the books. The shelves are always neat and sorted by genre (I have yet to find this at other thrift stores) and you can't beat the prices. I always leave with an armload of books with many titles being new releases and in great condition. Just a wonderful overall experience with a great selection.

They had a little bit of everything here! When you first walk into the shop it looks deceptively small, but it goes wayyy back and is actually very large. It was pretty well organized and had reasonable prices- just what I want in any thrift store!

Sadly I agree with others regarding North Raleigh Ministries Thrift Store. It's been 4 months since I shopped this thrift store, I was shocked at the price increase...Dresses have always been $10 (too high in my opinion) but now they bumped up pricing on"Better Quality" clothing, A MAGIC MARKERON THE GARMENT is used to identify the higher price...WHY????....The DIM LIGHTING has always been an issue, I find it best to thoroughly check out items in natural light at front of store. Thankfully the staff has remained the same, HELPFUL & FRIENDLY! I Love CAROLINE, she is wonderful!! I realize that this charitable organization does a lot for the community, however shoppers are in need of Help Also...

Caroline is a jerk. She called me over to check out and then checked out some guys phone while I stood there. Unbelievable!Worst part? She didn't bother acknowledging it. Didn't bother apologizing. When ministries hire jerks that's the end of an era.
