Chef Kiss on everything! Food popped! Music was on point too! Anytime I can hear dancehall with fine dining, I’m happy. The only L for tonight is they charge you $3 per person to cut a cake. Otherwise, all good.

There were 4 of us celebrating a birthday and the restaurant was busy but not overcrowded; it still felt intimate. Nice concept of food being served in rounds, family style/shareable. All of our selections were vegetarian/pescatarian friendly and although my companions eat meat, we all agreed that the 6 or 7 dishes we shared, were great. My impromptu mocktail made by the bartender was good- however, my companions didn't care for their cocktails. Those were dim in comparison to the excellent food, etc.Vegetarian options: Brussel Sprouts, Cauliflower, Mac & Cheese all constitute as vegetarian and were all delicious!!

Went in to have a glass of cab. When it came it was so cold condensation had formed. The manager came over and tried to gaslight me and my wife that it was served at the proper temp. This guy was so rude I should have got up and left. Instead we made the most of it. We will never go back. The restaurant isn’t that great and to be treated the way we did was unacceptable.

Came here after getting engaged and was on cloud 9… ended up walking out of here. Our waiter was sooo rude. He was tapping the order in on the iPad, rolling his eyes, looking around, being so nonchalant as we were trying to order. Everything we ordered he had a problem with it and suggested other things. We ended up walking out because his attitude was so freaking horrible. I cannot remember his name but we had reservations 2/14 at 7:30pm and he wore heart shaped glasses on his head, and was a tall stocky black guy . I could not believe we were being treated so horrible. Tried to wave him down to let him know we will be leaving and he looked at us rolled his eyes and turned his back and proceeded to talk to another table. I hardly EVER write reviews, good or bad service however THIS place was the absolute worst place I have ever been to in terms horrible customer service from the waiter.

Service and ambiance were great, but the food… not so much. I had a terrible food experience at Oro on yesterday’s rainy Friday evening. We had early dinner reservations, because we had a show after. It was our first time dining at Oro, and will be our last. I’m sick in bed at 2:30pm the day after and NO alcoholic drinks were involved. The food ruined the entire dining experience, and the purpose of going to a restaurant is the food. The sesame cauliflower tasted great but has left me EXTREMELY sick the following day. The Chilean Sea Bass was greasy, the Market Catch unflavored, Mac and Cheese was runny, and the Calamari was white I know its the GF flour but.,.… Maybe great for others but it’s a no for me.

Great food - cauliflower is a MUST. They explained the food came out as it was ready but we had a looong span between our sides and our meat. Atmosphere was modern and clean (and loud!). I'd go back for the food. Great mix of Veg and other options.

I highly recommend Oro to anybody who wants to experience a unique and diverse menu. We were a party of 5 and we all ordered the family style tasting menu. I think we had 12-13 courses - each of which were unique and delicious. It can be a bit noisy in the dining area, but the courses were well spaced and the service was excellent. Not to mention, $65 per person for a curated menu made the experience extremely easy and fun.

I wasn't impressed with the restaurant. The menu had a limited selection and the portions were small. Although they recommended getting several dishes to share, it wasn't enough for my friends and me. I believe people come here for the ambiance or aesthetically pleasing drinks. I ordered an alcoholic beverage with a dragon holding the drink, but it tasted terrible. The seared salmon was mediocre, and the skewed pork belly was so bad that my friend had to return it and receive a type of pasta that was even worse than the pork belly. The only good dish was the jerk chicken, but it was very spicy and should come with a warning label. We ended our meal with the dessert chocolate dome, which was the only presentable and good thing about the restaurant. Before coming, my co-workers and friends had said that it was okay, but we had already made a reservation.PS: I'm not a big back or big momma

Every dish was delicious ‼️ The appetizer, entree, & dessert! I sat at the bar and the bartender was super busy yet attentive. Food came out quick yet hot ? and fresh! Tried scallops for the first time and loved it. I also had 2 cocktails. The bathtub and one that came in a lantern. Great experience all around! Please give them a shot!

Me & my bf went here for our anniversary dinner. I am a picky eater but my bf is not, I found one "main" that I would like & when we got there we discovered that the online menu doesn't match the one in the restaurant. So we ended up ordering the potatoes for an app & a mixed drink. We then had to go elsewhere for our actual dinner. Very disappointing. Ambiance was nice, sever was friendly at first but then inattentive & slow. Also the plates are small for the price.

Me and my wife went last night for our wedding anniversary and were completely blown away by everything. From the wonderful and welcoming personality of our server (I want to say his name was Corey, but I'm terrible with names. He was wearing a purple shirt and made us feel extremely welcome like we were in his home) to the attention to detail and presentation of the drinks and food it was easily the best restaurant experience we've had in 10 years. While we rarely complain about the little things (I'm a chef for going on 25 years) there were no little things to be disappointed by. From seasoning and salt, plating, how the components were put together to make a dish come together, the backstory behind the dishes and drinks, it was fantastic. We definitely will return, and Oro has moved to the top of our list of places to take friends and family. It was exactly what a restaurant should be.Dietary restrictions: My wife has an onion allergy and our server knew what she could and couldn't order without having to consult the kitchen.
