This has been the worst, most incompetent, least professional group of “healthcare professionals” I have ever had the displeasure of relying on at the sickest time of my life. I do not recommend this practice, especially if you expect compassionate, competent care across the board. Honestly, an urgent care is more organized, professional, respectful, and compassionate. I hope folks don’t skip over this one review and it saves at least one person from the experience I’ve had. I am not a disgruntled patient, I am a patient who trusted this organization blindly and foolishly. At one point, an appointment was made for me, and upon arrival brittany womble/west—a PA—refused to even see me and had her nurse turn me away in the parking lot. I had been to the ER multiple times, which she knew. At that point all I was seeking was a referral which a scheduler told me I had to have an appointment to get—which turned out to be false. Brittany womble/west never gave me a referral nor apologized nor followed up on the debacle of making me drive ten miles, sick, for no reason—only to be turned away in the parking lot—like common garbage. At that point I was too sick to advocate for myself and just very disappointed in her and the organization as a whole. This is just one example of many of how they failed me during this lowest time of my life. A second failure being the hostile, aggressive, bombastic, mean CNA to Charles Schwartz. Her name is Terrell, and even her five minute voicemail message that patients are forced to sit through subtly screams “don’t bother me.” This employee has no fear of losing her job or reprimand as her rude behavior was a pattern to which she’s become accustomed. She’s not even worth reviewing—just know she’s another one in the wrong profession and is just not qualified for the job she has. I cannot believe this person is employed at all honestly. The communication between staff and the doctors must be nonexistent or minimal at best. It’s certainly not up to the level of expectations when dealing with peoples lives and health. I was the sickest I had been my entire life and scared! Very disappointing and honestly traumatizing. I am a higher education professional so I am used to dealing with chaos and having to teach young and older adults how to be professionals but never did I think I would have to clock in at the doctor’s office to teach them the same! A third failure—during this whole ordeal not once did my real doctor, Suduqqi ever reach out to see how I was. Amy Newell has been the only one thus far to show any real compassion about what they put me through. I am currently waiting for a report from my formal complaint.Edit: They’re “concerned.” Note the stock reply below given to me from this “organization” completely ignoring the fact I have already spoken with Ms. Newell. Their reply is another example of lack of communication and bad PR. Again, stay away from this practice if at all possible.

I had a scheduled teleconference at 9:30 with Brittany. She was 40 minutes late. She made no effort to apologize or explain the delay.Fortunately, I was able to see Ann later in the day. Ann was kind, compassionate and very efficient. Indeed, she gave me excellent care. I will request Ann for any future appointments.

I have been a patient with Raleigh Medical Group since 1979 & cannot say enough kind things about the staff, the nurses, and the physicians of this practice. Dr. John Rubino is thoughtful and listens to my concerns without judgement and compassion. He takes my health seriously, which is good because sometimes I don't. They follow up with me when I'm sick! The offices has reminders when I have an appointment with a check-in system that I can do up to three days beforehand. I'm grateful for the care I've received for so many years. Thank you!!!

Top recommendation: FIVE STARS for Dr. Adam Willson and the team at Raleigh Medical Group. I appreciate their genuine interest in keeping me on track with annual physical exams and lab work, expert advice and management of any medical conditions that might arise, and keeping me healthy. Thank you! BTW: Learned today Raleigh Medical Group will move later in 2024 into their new building (one block away) at the corner of Six Forks and Barrett Drive. Conveniently located a few blocks off the intersection of 440 and Six Forks Road.

Good luck trying to get an appointment if you’re sick. The last two times I have been sick I have not been able to get an appointment.

I have always had great experiences here. I see Brittney West and can honestly say she is one of the best! She shows compassion and she cares and listens to me and provides me the best medical care ever! I love how kind she is!

This is the very best medical practice in Raleigh. I was a former patient of Dr. Jacobs, and now I am a current patient of Dr. Pechter. (We moved out of state and then returned, and Dr. Jacobs was full). Anyway, I have a bit of distrust in the medical community since COVID- I feel things were handled poorly and the Medical community was enjoying the "power", so to speak. But I can say that this medical group is amazing in every way. They are courteous and friendly and top notch physicians who actually care about their patients. My health is in great hands with Dr. Pechter! I really love her!

Dr. Jacobs has been my primary care physician for 20+ years. He is an amazing doctor. He is incredibly knowledgeable and he keeps up-to-date on the latest medical research on a very broad range of topics. He explains his thoughts and recommendations very thoroughly and at a level the patient can understand. He is also very personable and caring. Dr. Jacobs is everything a person could ask for in a doctor. And I can't talk about Dr. Jacobs without also talking about his fabulous nurse, Liz. She also is very personable and knowledgeable. She clearly cares a great deal about her patients and does an excellent job of gathering important information for Dr. Jacobs to consider during his exam.

RMG and specifically Tina Harris, MD have provided my care for years. I appreciate that you get to speak to a person when you call for an appointment, not just a frustrating phone tree! Dr Harris answers all of my questions thoroughly and works with me as a teammate on my health goals. I appreciate her guidance and the caring staff at RMG!!

Dr. Nadine Pechter has been my primary care physician for a number of years. She is always very thorough, unhurried, thoughtful, and empathetic. Every receptionist, nurse, and lab technician in this practice is friendly and efficient. I have never had a problem with anyone at Raleigh Medical Group; that is saying a great deal these days!

What's the point of going to a small "local" practice like this when they're just going to give you the same cold, inhuman, assembly-line treatment that you'd get from some faceless medical conglomerate? From appointment scheduling to actual medical "treatment" offered, this place (including their many satellite practices like Wake Butchery, I mean, Endoscopy) has gone a long way in eroding my trust in Western medicine. I honestly can't think of a time when they did anything to help me, although I can think of several times when they succeeded in making my symptoms worse. As for this response (?), I talked to the guy in person (since no one would answer the phone). He was alternately dismissive and defensive, with a contemptuous smirk on his face. No wonder their service is so bad.

I came to the Raleigh Medical Group office to pick up a prescription and the sign on the door says "Hours of Operation Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm." It's now 1:50 pm on Friday May 19th 2023. The office is closed.

Raleigh Medical Group staff BAR NONE sets a standard of excellence in customer Service and support. Receptionists are consistently friendly and professional. At check-in you'll be greeted with 2-3 smiling professionals who make you feel warmly welcome. Dr. Jacobs and his nurse Liz make me feel more like a valued friend than a patient or client. They demonstrate genuine care and concern for me as a human and the feelings are definitely mutual. Having been without a job for an extended period of time, I'm also grateful that Mary Barham (Billing) is friendly and professional; reasonable and willing to work within my ability/needs, which have gone from one extreme to another over the past year. THANK YOU, Raleigh Medical Group staff and Dr. Jacob's office most especially!!!
