Highly recommend. Found their business on Yelp. I had a VW with what I thought to be a transmission issue and called to get a quote. After speaking with Tim he suggested I bring it in for them to diagnose the issue. They looked at it the next day and sent me a quote. Tim called and we went through it line by line. Turns out it wasn’t the transmission but two cylinders were misfiring. They made the necessary repairs and had my car back within two business days. They answered questions without making me feel I was a bother. Glad I have found a shop who can work on my VW besides the dealer. Awesome group of guys. Thank you Tim and Rich. Had some issues with transmission shuddering between 2nd/3rd gear. I made an appt and when I dropped the vehicle off, Mr. Klein (owner) was very focused on listening to my explanation of the issue. During the work process, I was kept up to date. It took a bit longer than I expected, but I'm all for taking the time that is needed to do the job right, and the owner also mentioned that he had recently lost a technician the week prior to my drop off so I suspect that was the main reason.Mr. Chappell (service advisor) was extremely pleasant and polite to work with for updates. At the end of the day, my truck is now shifting smoothly, and I am very pleased with the work. Cost was roughly in line with what I was expecting as well. I will not hesitate to visit this shop in the future as I may have a need.

Satisfied customer here. I was impressed by thoroughness and communication (specifically conversation before I even decided to bring my car in).Also, they stand behind their work. I experienced a minor issue weeks after the repair and they fit me in immediately - resolved the issue, no questions asked and free of charge. Definitely earned my trust.If I ever need work done on my vehicles in the future (not just transmissions), RK will be my first call.

I received a transmission fault warning and feared the worst. RK Transmission did a thorough diagnostic and found it was a sensor that needed to be replaced. They are very communicative and take the time to explain the issue. Highly recommend!Service: Transmission

I contacted RK early this morning for emergency repairs on my car. Unfortunately, they were not able to help me within my particular time constraints but in the spirit of total customer service, they called back to offer the name of one of their competitors. We are here in Raleigh, passing through on our way to Carolina shores. I scoured the directory and phoned RK. I relayed my dilemma and met with a courteous and concerned response. The fact that they went out of their way to help us has made me customer for ever. I am moving to Carolina shores and will travel the two hours to have my car serviced by such a professional company.
