“As first time parents, we were anxious about putting our son in daycare, but we have been thrilled with our experience at Children's Lighthouse of Raleigh. The teachers in Room 1(Christina & Cortney) were incredible and super caring to our infant. “I was recommended this place by a professional detailer in Raleigh and I am incredibly thankful for that recommendation.

I drove over some freshly splattered paint from a bucket that fell off the back of a truck two days prior. White paint splashed up in a few spots on my brand-new, black car. Majestic had a product called Double D that took it off the tires, wheel wells, and the paint itself without doing any damage. A can of that, a spray bottle, and a few microfibers only ran me $30.

Everyone at the shop was friendly and helpful. They have their products available to test, which the employee did- showing me that it would work on my car before I bought it.

Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended!”

“I was led to this daycare a year ago and I thank God every day! I needed to place my 5 month old son asap and this was not only the first daycare on my list but the only one to have a slot available. I was able to tour the next day and fell in love IMMEDIATELY! I remember it smelling good, feeling warm, inviting, and calm. My son let everyone hold him and didn’t bat an eye. The first month was rough for me because he didn't acknowledge me at all at pick up or drop off! Here we are a year later and he still loves it. I also have new little one there now and she settled in seamlessly as well. I love the way they love on and teach my babies! The communication is great! They are extremely reliable! The care is AMAZING! I like that it is a small facility and that my children aren't two of many. I HIGHLY recommend Brighthaven Academy every chance a I get!”

Safety is clearly a top priority throughout the school. One moment that really stayed with us was during a hectic pickup time when severe weather rolled through unexpectedly. When I got there I was relieved to see that rather than allowing things to become chaotic, the staff calmly organized the children, kept everyone safely inside and accounted for, and still managed to keep the kids smiling and entertained with songs and playful activities while other parents also arrived. It was such a strong reflection of the culture there: safety always comes first, but never at the expense of warmth, comfort, or joy for the children.

Miss Judy has been an incredible teacher and such an important part of our child’s growth and happiness. She is kind, attentive, and it is obvious how deeply she cares about her students. She takes the time to make each child feel seen and valued in their own unique way, whether through little personal touches, encouragement, or simply knowing exactly how to make them feel comfortable and confident. Our child absolutely adores her, and it is easy to understand why.

They literally teach them & work with them from number , colors , many projects as well group activities & my kids learning expanded. They taught my 3yr & 5yr Spanish , YES Spanish. I was so amazed at my kids growth. I even have an infant as well that attends & he actually speaks & be so excited to go . “We spent alot of time researching daycares in the area and we are so glad we ended up with this one. My child's last daycare was fine, but we did not like the way they spoke to the kids and my child so we were a bit nervous trying a new school. I am SO THANKFUL, GRATEFUL, AND APPRECIATIVE we found Primary Beginnings Spring Forest. No matter what time I drop in, all of the staff make sure to say hello to me, ask about my kid, and interact with all of the kids in such a positive way. They often do not see me at first as I get to the classroom so I get to see the genuine interactions. Let me tell you, my child's attitude and behavior has been a 180. She is so much happier when I pick her up, she doesn't mind being dropped off in the mornings, and has made wonderful friends. Mr Philly is who she interacts with the most and he is a gem. All of the teachers at this school are exemplary, but Mr Philly makes the day for them. You can tell how much he cares and how much the kids love him. I could go on and on but I seriously cannot express how comforting it is to know my child is safe AND happy while I have to be at work.”

“I’m writing this partly because I see there aren’t many reviews, and that’s a shame. It’s definitely an oversight of parents not thinking to leave reviews.

Raleigh Nursery School is a truly remarkable place. To name a few reasons- it’s very family oriented. They focus on outdoor learning, when weather permits. They teach kids to regulate their emotions, learn in a multitude of ways, listen to music, learn about family, and always arrive well ahead to standard milestones. The children learn to grow their own vegetables and flowers, and they always leave extras near the door at pickup time. They serve 3 meals a day and snacks. They have lots of play time and also rest time once in the middle of the day.

To give an example of the ways they teach, when my 2-year-old feels frustrated, she identifies and names that emotion, she then works to deep breathe to calm down and be at peace with that emotion as it comes and goes, then she makes a ‘smart choice’
to direct towards after.

Every member of staff is always so loving and competent. I really just want them all to wrap me up in a big warm hug when I drop off my girl at school on the mornings. The current and likely future director- a mother and daughter pair- both attended preschool there themselves, and there was only one previous director who managed it during that time before. Every staff member already knows my daughter, and she’s only been there a couple of months. There are ladies who have been there 20, 30, and even 40 years.

I have honestly never felt better about leaving my daughter with anyone else, next to maybe her father (and we have great grandparents!), and that means everything. We were at another daycare previously, and it is a night and day difference. I wish I’d have gotten my daughter here sooner. I’d recommend this school to any parent seeking a loving, enriched learning environment for their child. The staff, parents, children, and management style is phenomenal.”

“With the new direction and leadership under Ms Katrina and Ms Siri, we have seen a huge improvement in the school's curriculum, and environment in general. They are going above and beyond to keep the school clean and have now provided some of the best teaching materials, toys, and supplies for the kids to learn creatively and actively. My children are learning things about science, arts, and hands on motor skills, and I've seen visible improvement and results in their cognitive thinking skills. Great school!!”

“My baby has been with this daycare since he was 3 months old. Ms Alice, Ms krys, ms jameeka, ms D’azia and Ms Chhya and ms Kayla and so many more professional teachers including ms joy ! This is the best daycare in the wake county area. I have visited other daycares and some of the things that matter most is space for kids to be kids. LMA has very good surveillance and sends videos and pictures daily. I can reach staff at any hour of the day during business hours and get a response. They have sooo many services to offer beyond child care! Speech and language therapy, kid yoga and so many cultural events! The food is always fresh and with great presentation! The lighting is also great, I can see everything in the photos and videos I’m sent. Very professional staff, no gossip no drama and they have a standard with their staff. They still have a huge bin of food if you need to take any home. And for the holidays they make sure food is available as well if you need it. I’m a mommy who is protective over my little one, and I’m still learning. I work very hard and LMA is apart of the reason I am able to have success in my career and work knowing my toddler is safe. I’m just happy my baby is still apart of LMA. This is where he will be until school starts for him. And they have a real curriculum for the kids also, they learn all day! I’m happy I took the time to share my review. I know there are parents looking for a clean and safe place for their kids while they work. LMA is perfect, don’t miss out!”

“LPP was exactly what our family needed! Our daughter started at 12 weeks old and if we hadn’t moved, we would have stayed forever. The staff was so kind and adaptable to any change. Mrs. Shawnonne, Ms. Taylor, and Ms. Leyla felt like family. Our daughter loved waving hello every morning to the goats, chickens, and ducks. It’s hard to find childcare you can trust and that is affordable, but LPP was that and more!”
