Sevan saved us! Our Audi had this crazy oil situation where it just kept guzzling oil and Audi said it would be $10k to maybe fix it. Sevan has seen this situation before and came up with a brilliant, thorough solution to help us keep our car for much, much longer without any additional oil issues!

I believe that I was overcharged for parts & services that I did not receive & Sevan did not disprove my suspicions when they had the chance. On 4/19/24, I paid for new brake pads, new rotors & a new sensor. However, when another mechanic replaced my rear brake pads on 8/29/24, he told me the front rotors were “old” & I would need new ones soon. The rear rotors, however, which were replaced by another shop on 8/30/23, are in mint condition. Then it all made sense to me...after Sevan did the front brakes, I started hearing a brushing sound coming from the front of the car & seeing a lot of brake dust on my front rims. Since Sevan was unable to diagnose the error codes I was getting, which was the original reason for my visit, I did not really ask about the brushing sound. I had working brakes & my focus quickly shifted to the error messages & delayed starts. Sevan cleared the codes, but I still got error messages that went away. Eventually, my car stopped in traffic & would not start on 8/27/24 & I took it to MINI for a full inspection. Among the items needing immediate attention were the replacement of the battery & rear brake pads. So, when the mechanic told me that I would need new front rotors after 4 months of use, I was understandably upset. Now, because Joe & the guys at Sevan seemed so friendly & kind, my first step was to call Joe to find out why I need new front rotors. The first words out of his mouth were, “I would never…” Two things about his immediate pivot to this phrase…first, using “always” & “never” usually signal some form of deception. Second, Joe did not say “Sevan would never” and technically, he does not work on cars. In any event, we made an appointment for 10/11/24. First, he took my car for a test drive and when he came back, the gaslighting began. He said he couldn’t hear a thing over the cupping from the tires & that I needed an alignment. Next, he rides with me and I bring his attention to the brushing sound—which you can still hear over the cupping, which is completely new. His response is still ambiguous, but he agrees to take a look. While I watch, he puts my car on the lift—cleaning out the brake dust & showing me the cupping on the rear tires. Since I could not see the cupping on the rear passenger side tire (which was plugged on 10/1), he took me to the rear driver side tire and the cupping on that side was so severe that it seemed exaggerated. My tires were not cupped like that or at all when I arrived. The only shop that has ever diagnosed cupping is Sevan—a condition that is easy to imitate. Sevan diagnosed cupping in April when they did the work in question & again on 10/11/24 to sidestep the concerns I was raising. I just find that mighty convenient. However, my rear tires with the most tread did need to be rotated to the front & I allowed Sevan to do that. Then after they rotated the tires, one of the mechanics took my car for a 10 minute test drive…for what??? They did not fix anything & only rotated the tires. In fact, it was only 5 minutes after I saw the mechanic drive off thru the waiting room window that Joe told me about the "test drive" and it took the guy another 5 minutes to bring my car back. Of course that raises concerns about what he was doing for those 10 minutes, when my drive with Joe was about 3 minutes. Whatever it was, they couldn’t do it when my car was on the lift & I was watching them. Then as I was leaving, Joe said the only sound I would be hearing is the cupping. Is that not a weird thing to say? Since then, the cupping sound has completely disappeared, but the brushing sound remains. Hence, the real issue remains unaddressed, because on 10/11/24, Joe did not once assure me that I had received the parts and services for which I was charged. So, either they did not replace the rotor & only replaced the brake pads but with inferior parts OR they replaced both the rotors & pads with inferior parts while charging me for premium parts &

I reached out to Sevan Motorworx For review and repair of a Jaguar that it been handed down to me. Joe and the team at SMW were quick and thoughtful about their approach. Their team was extremely polite, and affordable. Those two things alone are rare today and definitely worth the discussion with them. Jags, Rover’s, you name it…Great team!!

Speaking with Joe on the phone was pleasant and informative. He knew exactly what I was describing and was able to get my vehicle in the same day and completed by the next. In person meeting Joe, he was kind and detailed. I definitely will be using Sevan services again.

I just want to say Joe made my experience pleasant and efficient. I was able to get a formal quote via email with in minutes of requesting one. The price and turnaround time were excellent. (this was a big job, rear main seal replaced and a couple of other things on my Audi). I loved that he double checked somethings I asked him to, no problem. They made sure my car was running great before it left the shop. Sevan, keep up the exceptional customer service and outstanding work you do on cars!
