The older African American gentleman is so sweet! He made sure there were gloves available so I could pump gas, chased away a panhandler by offering her whatever she needed from the store for free. He reminded her they always give her what she needs for free and not to beg from the store’s customers.
Also, if you’re hungry, there an African food truck on site in the evenings! It’s called Olive Oyle, and has its own Google listing. Check it out!
