Went here for one night and the service was terrible. The people there didn’t know how to work the card machine and put a hold on my card for 300 by accident. So I basically had too pay double. Then when I tried to reach the accounting department no one answered or returns the call. So this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with hotels. The customer service is literally a zero. You can never get in touch with people who can help solve you problems

I highly recommend staying at the Sheraton Raleigh for your next trip to the city! I checked in late coming from the airport, and having traveled for a long time, it was refreshing and a relief to have been greeted with exceptional hospitality from Ajjahn. Even throughout the next few days of my stay, he greeted me personally and made sure I had everything I needed.Lobby and Amenities: I had friends stay at the Marriott next door, and I have to say, the Sheraton's lobby and amenities were better. Look at the historical charm of the building in the picture I have!Rooms: The rooms are also clearly recently renovated. At first, I stayed near the elevator, but being a light sleeper, I requested to get moved away from the elevator. Given that I had come for a convention, I was worried I would be denied. However, they moved me like it was no issue and were very flexible with the timing for me to move my personal belongings. I also had a lovely view of the city from my room. Room service came in everyday so everything was changed out regularly. I had fantastic sleep in the beds, and easily got to request feather-free pillows to enhance my sleep.Walkability: Highly walkable, you're smack in the middle of downtown. I went on jogs and walks all the time during my 4 night stay and felt like I got to know the city pretty well.Food & drinks: Breakfast: My work hadn't purchased the breakfast package, but I went to do it anyway because it was downstairs and convenient. Also exceptional service there at Jimmy V's Osteria. High quality breakfast buffet with made-to-order huge omelets. Personally I couldn't finish them lol but I really enjoyed their oatmeal. It was very creamy and didn't make it feel like a chore to have a healthy breakfast!I also always appreciated their fruit infused water available at the lobby. It was a great way for me to fill up my water bottle and stay hydrated!Noteworthy details: They have an area where there are toiletries, snacks, drinks, etc. free for guests to take which was very convenient so I didn't have to keep going to the front desk for those amenities. The snacks and drinks were excellent (RxBar, KIND Bars, water, energy drinks, juice, etc.), and everything was always fully stocked.

Really not the worst, but definitely not worth the cost. Stayed here on a business trip and my room had a bunch of small issues such as missing hooks/towel racks in the bathroom, dirty floors, vinyl flooring coming loose. The workout facility was also not well maintained or cleaned. I would be ticked off if I paid for it myself since it's not a cheap hotel. I'll probably try the Marriott next time I'm in town for business.

It’s one of those hotels that belong to a reputable brand, looks aesthetically pleasant on the outside but you still question the cleanliness. Simple things were missed in my room. No refreshed coffee or cups, no fridge, bathroom extremely outdated with a slow drain in shower, chip tile and the glasses are also dirty. They can do better that is all

Stayed here for St. Patrick's Day Weekend and the staff was amazing! In particular Celeste C who works at the check in desk. She went out of her way for me to make my stay as pleasurable as possible! She made me want to find a reason to come back to Raleigh to stay again. Highly recommend checking this hotel out if you want to see the sites of downtown Raleigh!

Very disappointed in the way the staff handled the public after purchasing a coffee from the cafe in the lobby area. If I could give zero stars I would.

As a small business owner in downtown Raleigh, I appreciate Kenny Garcia's dedication to connecting with the local community. He is a champion of local businesses and a shining example of how a chain hotel can be an asset to the whole city. He is passionate about serving his clients and making everyone's experience in Raleigh a positive one. I love working with Kenny to be ambassadors for The City of Oaks!

Jimmy V's restaurant OK with good bar. Hotel is confusing with multiple levels. Across the street from the Convention Center.

Great hotel in downtown! Close to the convention center. Great service as well. The rooms are clean and comfy, but are loud (the fan/vent sound). Restrooms are clean.

Rude service and you can not check in even 10 mins early than 4pm. Very unfriendly.

Horrible hotel. Unfortunately, I’ve stayed here many times (company’s contract) and the experience is never good. I think some of the rooms have been remodeled, but mine was not. The room had a musty smell, the TV was a little larger than my iPad, no mini fridge, it took nearly 2 hours to have one delivered to my room. The guy who brought it to my room just dropped it in the middle of the room, never bothered to plug it in. Had a attitude.
