After striking out finding a truck locally with all the features I wanted, I found the perfect truck online at Sir Walter. After talking with Justin Reed on the phone, I drove over 2 hours to the dealership. Justin had the truck waiting for me when I got there. He was very helpful in answering all my questions and checking for all the discounts I may be eligible for. The finance and warranty department broke down the best extended warranty options for me and the sales manager came out to shake my hand and thank me for my business. Best of all I was in and out in less than 3 hours. It was well worth the drive to Sir Walter and I plan to go back for future purchases.

I did find the vehicle I wanted and it was somewhat of a fair price, but in my opinion the air was of one that they were doing me a favor by selling me a car. I don't see Sir Walter Cheverlot as an outstanding dealer, just a typical "here it is, if you don't buy it someone else will" dealer. What all car dealers need to learn is that they are in the business to sell a car, to stay in operation, and (as the consumer) I may want to buy a car, but my livelyhood does not depend on buying a car from "you".

This was my best service experience yet. Dropped the vehicle off and waited approximately an hour, or just long enough to be asked if I wanted to make another purchase (I love working with Gina)…lol. Thanks guys. See you soon!

My Silverado has been serviced here for 6+years and up to this series of events I was more than happy - then it all went wrong - an engine check light appeared prior to a major service last November - changed casing on fuel filter - all was suppossed to be well. Come December check light appeared again this time a thermostat was changed. Then January arrived and check light again.Each visit was extended because of the limited staff with diesel experience.I think they went around the real problem that the catalytic convertor and DPF filter were sooted up.To end it all they said the parts would need to go on back order until April.I phoned the General Manager and detailed this series of events and the costs involved. He did not seem particular perturbed that the vehicle was off the road.
