It’s absolutely ludicrous that the NCSECU stopped the tax preparation services for its members, in favor of performing “more services for its members”. BS! Preparing my taxes was THE MOST IMPORTANT SERVICE the NCSECU did for its members. Everyone knows each time we go into any branch…0-2 customers are there at a time. They’re not THAT busy, unless it’s a Friday afternoon!!! I’m seriously thinking of going to another credit union because of this.

I believe they are probably in violation of fair housing laws. They refused to rent me one of their properties because I am a party in a pending legal case. To them, it does not matter that I have never been convicted of anything in my entire life. It doesn’t matter to them at all that I have documented proof that my false accuser makes false police reports, claiming rape, and that the police found her existing claim to ha e been a false police report, with evidence of consen

There is a very friendly and helpful staff that are available to help their members in any way they can. This is such a relief to the nonsense of big banks. The account services and member services are really what you're looking for. I wouldn't suggest this place for all your financial needs, but they exist solely to help people. It's a different kind of refreshing.

SECU on 560 Centennial Parkway, Raleigh, NC..... WOW... The worst customer service I have ever experienced in all of my 25 years being with the SECU. I had already called the Call center and got prior approval before I got to this branch. When I walked up to the Customer Service Desk I apparently was interrupting a Complaining session between SECU staff members. The man was complaining so loudly to his co-worker that I had to be seated to wait for someone to assist me around the corner (I was on a short lunch period) and all I heard for 10 minutes was this guy venting on how messed up things were there and short staffed. My gut told me to get up and leave and go to my regular branch...but I didn't. Then Mr. Attitude with the corner office and business suit comes out with a snarling look on his face. I knew I was in for a terrible rest of my experience at this branch after seeing the way he acted and true to form he continued the disappointment. He sat behind his computer punched in my approval code that the Call center had given me just hours before and tells me that it's actually declined. Me looking puzzled explaining I was told by the call center that I was approved and all I needed was to come by the closest branch and sign a document. He said Nope it's declined.... But what MR. ATTITUDE didn't share is that HE actually override what the call center approved and declined it himself......No explanation Nothing...simply cause he could and just sent me out the door..... This is the first time I have ever been treated like a number and TRUST ME when I SAY THIS..... I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS BRANCH AGAIN! TERRIBLE JUST TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

New to SECU and I've got to say its been a great experience so far. The staff is always VERY friendly and eager to help. Shout out to Courtney for making task that most people normally dread a pleasant experience.
