We hired Themeworks for draping/lighting for our wedding at the Pavilion at Carriage Farm. They were very easy to communicate with and understood exactly what we wanted. The drapery/lights really pulled the entire look of the venue together and added the wow-factor we were hoping for, especially once it got dark. Highly recommend!

THEMEWORKS Creative in Raleigh is AMAZING ? It’s the ONLY place to go for wedding rentals, themed party rentals, special events! Service is top notch and they have SO MANY cool items to take any event to a top notch level. Classy, cool, modern, sexy, creative-whatever your needs!Their rental space is one of the most affordable in Raleigh & so convenient to downtown. I can’t believe it’s not booked up all the time- best kept “secret” in Raleigh!!!!Love this place!

Themeworks did an amazing job providing a photo backdrop and specialty lounge furniture! They even were able to accommodate some last minute pieces! Casey was great to work with throughout the whole process.

ThemeWorks provided many of the things that gave my wedding that wow factor. I highly recommend that anyone considering a rental company for their wedding or event to check out ThemeWorks' selection. They have items for every style, season and type of event.I truly am thankful that we found ThemeWorks as they were able to make my chandelier and disco balls dreams come true. From the very beginning of my wedding planning I knew I wanted disco balls, and ThemeWorks made that, among many other things happen. We also rented their furniture and hedge walls to create a cozy, lush space that felt absolutely magical on my wedding day.I truly enjoyed working with ThemeWorks, from selection, to delivery to set up and breakdown, they were wonderful. Highly recommend!

Decent price and customer service overall. I rent from various companies in the area but I was a bit perturbed by having to load and unload my rented equipment myself and having to ask for assistance as I was 9 months pregnant. They have nice unique items but should consider revising some aspects of their services.

Themeworks provided extra lighting and a lighted backdrop for our recent wedding, and it turned out really nice! They worked with us to change dates (at no cost) when our wedding was postponed due to COVID, and also helped rearrange our items when our guest list went from 100+ down to 10. As with any vendor, be sure to read through the contracts and know what your options are if things were to change. We're docking one star due to their limited showroom hours and payment options, otherwise we were happy with how it all turned out!

I have used ThemeWorks for many celebrations prior to my recent wedding and as always, have had the most phenomenal experience. There really isn't another rental company in Raleigh with as wide a variety of rental options or commitment to giving events a creative twist. The owner, John, and coordinator, Lucy, were so dedicated to ensuring that our event had everything it needed - despite the many changes we needed to make amidst the pandemic. If I wanted something that wasn't already in the showroom (which was not frequent), John would offer to build it. If I left the showroom but couldn't keep my mind off a stack of trays tucked in the corner, Lucy would text me pictures of them. From the showroom and vision board to the contract, payment, and delivery, everything was absolutely seamless! I thoroughly enjoyed working with ThemeWorks and cannot wait for the next opportunity I have to utilize their inventory and services!

Good People, but not Pandemic Friendly
Theme works has a lot to offer, and great decor. However, during these crazy times, I cannot whole heartedly recommend this company. Our wedding was planned for March 20, 2020 and just 3 days prior our wedding date, our main venue had to cancel our event due to the pandemic. I understand policies are set in place, but majority of our vendors were more than willing to work with the situation, since this is our generations first pandemic. The items we planned to rent were very specific to the original, indoor venue (hang lights for a wooden back drop, draps to also cover part of the wooden back drop, vine ball lights). So, when we had to plan a new, outdoor wedding at a brand new venue, we couldn't use any of the items we rented , so we were out a couple grand. However, with the new venue we did need a dance floor, so we had to spend more money, on top of the couple grand we had already lost to this company. Unfortunately, they were the only ones who could provide a dance floor on such short notice. So if you are planning a wedding during this pandemic, I highly recommend either waiting to the last minute, or try to find someone else who won't take advantage of the situation.

The worst.. I'm having a party I have been in to the establishment picked out the things I needed left contact info for my party no one called me it's been over 2 weeks I have called every day.. and they kept telling me to send email to a Lucy, I have sent email numerous time and they are saying that email address not found I would never use them they don't even have and assistant or someone to contact you and when I call to talk to an emergency person he was nonchalant about the whole thing.. worst company I ever dealt with.. poor communication

A wonderland for creatives and event planners! Themeworks has an incredible selection of props and event rentals. From furniture to oversized movie props, there’s no limit to the imagination here. Their Downtown Raleigh location is especially convenient for our team!
