I purposely put my reservation under a different name so that way he wouldn’t go back and trace my reservation. The fat big guy that sits at the door drinking wine is rude! You can see how rude he is by responding to these ACCURATE reviews! Trust me, I didn’t choose this restaurant, my friend did. He literally told someone that “I can tell you’ve never been to Italy”. What?! Well maybe you should go back and take this sorry excuse of a restaurant with you!

Super cute Italian restaurant especially for date nights. The meals looked veeery delicious, and mine was good too but it wasn’t hot/fresh when I got it which was disappointing. I wasn’t paying attention much to the rest of fhe restaurant so idk if they were busy or what the situation was. If I go back I hope to have a better experience bc the other food looks good too…. Haha

My boyfriend and I had the very best time. The waiter was great. I appreciated that once our meals were served, our waiter did not interrupt and let us enjoy our food together. Everything we had was to die for. I had the lobster ravioli and he had the pesto gnocchi. We ate every bite and it was absolutely delicious. You could taste the fresh basil in the pesto and the fresh lobster in the ravioli. We also had tiramisu and the limoncello cake for dessert. Both were also amazing. We will definitely be making this a regular date night spot.

The food was good and the ambiance great. The restaurant is beautiful, but those are the only positives about this venue. The wait staff was stretched thin with only one waiter for my party of 23. The menu online is not what is served in the restaurant so prescreening to ensure my crew all had something from the menu to accommodate their diets failed. Even worse, there are no changes and no substitutes allowed at all to accommodate special diets. For example, one party wanted simply a vegetarian meal with added protein (the cost was not an issue for us) as he is not a true vegetarian rather does not eat carbs. Instead of accommodating this request, the guest was forced to order a regular meal with pasta then asked to hold the pasta and add a salad instead of getting only the hot, cooked meat and vegetables he wanted. Who does that!?!? Later, we found out that the no substitute nor accommodations was due to only having one chef/cook working in the restaurant, which was absolutely full. Needless to say it took forever to get the food back for our tables. By the time our food was served 3/4 of the restaurant had emptied out. One party member never received the simple glass of wine and salad ordered, which was ordered to make the work easier on the kitchen specifically. Subsequently, she left the restaurant hungry and ate elsewhere. The entire party wanted more bar drinks instead of the one drink half of us had and just were not accommodated on those either. All things considered...I would never recommend this restaurant for those reasons alone, but especially because our party did not even receive a proper welcome to the restaurant coming through the door. Several complained about being pointed to the table without so much as a "hello" or "welcome"!! This was disappointing because I had several friends drive in from out of state and town just for this birthday dinner, which was almost ruined. However, we were determined to not let anything stop our celebration, and the night ended with us keeping our celebratory mood despite this venue's severe shortcomings. However, if we could have easily transferred our large party to another venue, we would have done so immediately!!!

The owner (old guy) sits around in the restaurant like an overseer of a plantation. Thank goodness I was late to joining my party for dinner, thus I did not have the displeasure of meeting him like the others at my table and in these reviews mentioned. Everyone's food took forever to come out. Was told by the waiter that there was only 1 chef. Food was definitely average-I had a taste of another's chicken alfredo. For myself, I ordered a salad with salmon, everyone else got their food, I did not. The waiter told me the 'chef' overlooked my order. Then ended up bringing out a salad about 5 minutes later. For which I of course, declined. Ordered a glass of wine. Guess what? I also never got it. Ended up leaving this restaurant and going to another in North Hills.Yes, they do add on ridiculous 'service fees' that are supposedly for "credit card" fees. Classy. These service fees are also listed as "other taxes" on a separate line. Interesting.Of course, I would not return to this restaurant and would not recommend this place to others.

Love this place. My husband just looked it up to make a reservation and we were shocked it didn’t have 5 stars from everyone. It’s the first place I take company when they come to town and want to dine out. The atmosphere is very comfortable, aesthetic and still feels upscale. Service is always great. The hardest decision is between the chicken parm and the pear purse pasta. It seems family owned, too. It’s nice to have a special place to go like Tuscan Blue. This is a hidden gem that adds joy to any occasion, celebration, or weekend.

Will not come back! This was my second time at the restaurant. When we arrived and said reservation for 10- my name, the owner (I believe) looked at me and said, "You're the girl that called me six times." I said back, "It was actually 2". He requested that I call and confirm my reservation, so I called twice. He was rude very rude, which set a terrible tone for our night. I will never go back. This is not the restaurant to go to if you are looking for a fun environment. There was no music playing; the restaurant sounded like a madhouse.

My wife and I went here on a Saturday evening and upon walking in the door there was a guy sitting just inside slouching in his chair and asks, “How many?” We replied with, “just 2”. Then he told one of the waitstaff to “..get them to table 11!”. No welcome or anything. My wife had Sea Bass and I had the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. My wife’s food was delicious, mine not so much. Full disclosure I was. Former Chef in the 90’s so I know and understand Italian food plus I grew up in an Italian restaurant. Noodles way overcooked, supposed to be linguine but they had spaghetti noodles mixed in. This dish is made with marinara sauce, but they had regular sauce and it was bland. Service.. oh boy service was just okay but they waste no time pushing you out the door. We got the check when we received our dessert. How nice is that. No one in that restaurant was personable. When we left the same guy was slouching in his chair at the door and never said goodbye, thank you nothing. This is why they are not busy. I don’t expect them to last much longer.

This is a sub par Italian restaurant. It took awhile for someone to check to see if we wanted drinks, the bread was grainy and dry.l, I had the lasagna, my husband had Tuscan ravioli both of which were drowning in sauce and my lasagna had maybe 3 layers of noodles. We felt very rushed, our main courses came before we were even half way done with our salads. Would not recommend. There are plenty of other options in town that are way better.

We went for restaurant week, and our entrees were excellent. We didn't have any choices for appetizer or dessert which were salad and cheesecake respectively. Those two courses were good, but the stand outs were the entrees. I had the shrimp fra diavola, which was nicely spiced in a chunky rustic red sauce. My girlfriend has the Fiocchi stuffed with ricotta and pear. Both were truly phenomenal. Try Tuscan Blu if you have the opportunity.
