Asked to get propane, the guy said he would be right out. Standing g out there for about 10 mins, I walk back in to an empty store and employee just sitting there. Shows no sense of urgency, more like I'm an inconvenience.

Jay and Jaquel both were knowledgeable, efficient but most importantly had exemplary customer service. Kudos to these two! After being a customer for many years I was on the verge of giving up, but these two restored my faith in the company! Hats off to them!

Rented a truck and car trailer for a move - thankfully since I reserved it and checked in online it went fairly smooth. However, Kevin the "employee" couldn't be bothered and was disrespectful. He didn't have enough of a spine to speak to me directly about company policies. He spoke about me in 3rd person when talking to a manager, that gave him an order, while I was in front of him. Even when I spoke up and asked him to speak to me like a person he disregarded it. I don't think that's too much to ask of B2C business employee. I'm very glad I don't have to go back to the location ever again. Just be better.

Truck guaranteed as reserved wasn't available so they "upgraded" me to the next size up. Omitted the fee upcharge and even though yhey had aggressive insurance sales tactics telling me how.much I'd owe for everything I didn't think they'd charge me for items I declined. Declined insurance got charged, did not want an upgrade, got charged....so.much for uhauls guarantee, I will be disputing

I managed to find everything I needed, but the manager was a little short with me when I was checking out and the card reader wasn’t working. She was helpful in loading my stuff into the car, but it wasn’t the best experience overall.

If you are putting gas in the truck, why do they charge per mile? Also, we were charged after hours fee. They were opened when we went and picked truck up, and the associate said you have 24 hours. We had the truck for only 4 hours.

Made an appointment to get a trailer hitch installed. Had to take the afternoon off work to do so as they said I had to have the vehicle there by 11:00 am and probably wouldn't be done before 5:00. Showed up the day of the appointment prepared to wait it out. They had no parts, no record of my appointment, and no interest in even apologizing for their screw up. The manager refused to even try to see if he could get the right part and reschedule the appointment. Useless. And everyone else there waiting in line had a similarly awful customer experience. I miss the old manager, Sami ( I think that was his name. He was wonderful.)

I have to give a shout-out to my girl, Sasha! I ran into an issue with my lock (wouldn’t open anymore) and needed to access my things asap. On a very busy day for the store, Sasha went out of her way to have my lock cut so I could get my belongings. This location does go above and beyond for the customer.

I rented a cargo van to go to Durham to pick up a couch. I had the van for 2 hours and was charged for 1080 miles of travel. I'm pretty sure U-Haul cargo vans aren't capable of 500mph. It would all be funny but I've been trying to get the 1000$ extra charged to my credit card back for 5 days now.

If you want to experience the worst customer service just ask for NINA! Not only will she lie and say she cancelled without my permission, she will continue to have equipment left in your name to charge you for a box you never possessed but she will call other companies in area and try to prevent you from renting at another store! I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy because she is a lying, spiteful, vindictive and petty woman!

Tried 3 times to get trailer hitch installed and they made excuses each time why it could not be done. Missing parts, wrong parts, manufacture error, etc. They should stick to truck rentals only. What a waste of time.I'd rate it 1 star but the GM gave me a credit after I explained the issue but even so...

Staff were pleasant to work with and helpful with information when I asked questions. Note: Like most U-Haul locations, there is NO Waiting room. So if you are having a hitch installed or other service performed, plan on dropping your vehicle off and picking it back up later - or walking to a nearby restaurant like IHOP, Starbucks or McDonald's.My only complaint is that the guy who answered the phone - and who subsequently performed the service must have English as a 2nd language. I had to ask him to repeat things a couple of different times.

STRONG WARNING...DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. The employees of this location promise you discounts and even show you the discount prior to checking out BUT when you notice you did NOT actually receiving said discount, after they draft your account, they will NOT refund what you are owed. Total rip off. Do yourself a favor and drive a little further to get a truck from a different location OR do not expect any discounts even if you are promised it. Horrible service, will NEVER do business with them again.

The truck had plenty of room but that was all I can say positive..The transmission was sticking,it would take a long time to go from one gear to another .And it kept running after I took key out. Didn't feel safe at all.

Never felt like less of a customer. Attendant felt it was more important to go chat with a friend outside. I will gladly avoid this uhaul from now on.
