Your website says you close at 8pm. I walk in at 7:35pm with a screaming child in my arms and you turn me away because you stop taking patients at 7:30pm, which I could not have known until I arrived and saw the sign on the door, not your website. Absolutely ridiculous and severe lack of empathy.

The rest of the reviews are accurate. Dismissive and unhelpful.

Each time I visit this location, the staff is attentive to my needs. They are well-prepared and provide excellent care.

PHEW! BEWARE. IF you’re wondering if this place is bad. Yes ma’am it is. Upon my arrival we were told 1 HOUR to 1 HOUR 30mins before we would even be seen. Then people who came in after us were being seen before us. Making our wait time longer. Some of the staff were nice while others are slightly rude but nonetheless. Like many people before me have said… take yourself and loved ones elsewhere. Someplace that values your time and money. God bless ☀️

The wait time here is absolutely ridiculous. We brought in 2 small children and waited for over 2 hours. We had no snacks, no drinks, nothing. I will never come back to this place. Thoroughly disgusted. And, I have worked in a doctor's office before. I know how easy it is to stay on task and complete things in a timely manner. And then, when we were finally seen, it was too late to use our regular pharmacy. We had to go out of our way to get the prescription.

Went in after a positive result on a home covid test. Was asked at the front desk if I wanted paxlovid because the physician on call does not prescribe paxlovid because “it’s risky.” No alternative was given. Sought treatment elsewhere.

If i could give 0 stars I would. I was just at the urgent care because I wasn’t feeling well. The nurse “Bob” came in and started reading off the prescriptions. I, being a common person, did not recognize the medications and asked if I was being given an antibiotic. “Bob” literally laughed in my face and said no. So unprofessional. I won’t be back.

I have been here multiple times whether for me, my kids or my husband and i have always walked out the door feeling better. Compassionate consistent good care. They do have a sign that says they treat patients in order of urgency not check in time. They have always gotten to me in a reasonable time and when im there they take the time to make sure im thoroughly ok before leaving.

Arrived as a walk-in and was treated with kindness, compassion and respect from intake through discharge. Thank you, Jennifer Caviston (FNP), Simone (CMA), and everyone else with whom I came in contact today. Y’all are the best!

Nice people, horrible system. First, their website makes you believe that you are reserving an appointment (you’re not), and it doesn’t mention that walk-ins are accepted (they are). The “reservation“ time that the website generates for you isn’t an actual appointment - it’s just a way for them to spread out the flow of patients. When you get there you still are triaged with the rest of the masses, all of the people who just walked in. So don’t waste your time making a “reservation”. Second, if you do make a reservation but go in early to try and be seen earlier, they will ask you to check in at the kiosk. I did this. But because I had a “reservation“ in their system, the kiosk confirmed me as checked in but didn’t communicate this to the computer system at the front desk - so I was in fact not checked in and I was not on the list of patients being triaged. I waited for over an hour assuming it was just taking a long time to be seen, then went up to the desk to ask about my status and the girl said I wasn’t checked in - despite having successfully checked in at the kiosk. She was very apologetic and said, “oh yeah - that happens all the time. It’s just a problem with the system.” Really??? And this is ok how?? So after wasting 2 hours of my life that I’ll never get back, and being told it would be probably another hour or more to wait to see the SINGLE provider seeing patients that day (another issue), I got my money back and left. There are plenty of other urgent cares around.

So thrilled to get into this facility! Check-in was easy...staff was quite professional. I even had ability to get chest X-rays there. If not for them, I would be hospitalized with pneumonia. Thank you so much, UC of Wakefield!

This place is truly a gem, especially if you have little ones. Have been twice now and the staff is always amazing. The front desk team is welcoming and works quickly to get you checked in. The care team is friendly and efficient-something I truly appreciate with a restless little one. This office is my first choice every time. A big thanks to the urgent care team for everything!

The staff was wonderful. The provider was kind and took her time listening. They do only have one provider which is why the wait can take a while. This is no fault of the staff they do the best they can. I’m grateful to know if I need to go to an urgent care they are available.

I went for the first time tonight as almost all other urgent care facilities in Wake Forest area are closed on Saturdays now (or, at least Sat. evenings by 6 pm, which is when we went). Immediately I assumed the line would be out the door, but we walked in, got checked in immediately and sat down to only one other family waiting. In less than 5 minutes, we were called back into a room! Our nurse (Amanda?) was done with us within a few minutes, was very friendly, and the PA (Sandi?) was in the room not even 2 minutes after our nurse walked out. I was shocked. The entire process was smooth and quick. Sandi was very thorough with my son, who was obviously nervous on top of not feeling well. She clearly was able to make him feel at ease and after the diagnosis, sat down and thoroughly described it. The entire process this evening at UNC Urgent Care - Wakefield was fantastic. My son wasn't feeling well, so the fact that we were in and out so quickly meant a lot to a mom with a sick child. Thanks so much, Wakefield! Great experience.
