My baby has been going to VCA since she was 12 weeks. She is terrified of other humans and has to be slightly sedated at her visits. Dr. Musgraves along with the technicians, assistants, and front desk staff have been so amazing with her and she is now 3y old. I live over an hour away from Raleigh and my other dogs see a vet closer to my home but because VCA has been soooo amazing with my “quirky” girl, I make the drive and will continue to do so just for her. They know EXACTLY what to do to make her feel ok which is what makes me feel good. Thank you all at VCA for making my life easier by keeping Eggo healthy and safe during her visits. ?

We take our dogs Diesel and Dixie here all the time. We travel alot, so they've become regulars. Always friendly staff and the dogs always seem to be well taken care of. We definitely appreciate them taking the dogs on very short notice these last couple of times.

I Love this veterinarian. They offer the Care Club for pets, which saves me a bundle on pet fees!

We've taken all of our pets to VCA. They have always been polite, professional, and compassionate...and if we can get over the heartache of losing our mini dachshund "Noodle", we will go back to VCA with our new pet.

Great veterinary service and grooming, a little more expensive than other local vets.

Overall, I keep coming back because the doctor and vet staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. They treat my cat kindly and clearly care for animals. I know my cat is in good hands with them. However, one of the receptionist is always disinterested and hard to deal with. Other than that, I would recommend!

Kind staff and very good with animals. My Elton was super comfy and felt at ease. A staff was from my home town state and that's always nice for good communication and understanding. Passionate to their animals and clients and spent a long time on our little guy giving him more then enough attention.

Dear office manager, congrats on the 1 star review. Find a way for private people to not have to give out all their detailed information if they don’t want to.

We bring our dog to VCA Durant Road doggy daycare when I am traveling for work. Our dog is always excited to go inside the office, greet the staff, and play with the other dogs. Our dog comes home exhausted from her play time and usually takes a nap when we get home. We like seeing our dog on the Camp Durant Instagram page to see she had a good time.

Wanted to leave this review after our experience this past year! I've lived in Raleigh for 5 years now but started brining my dog here when I moved to North Raleigh this past year. I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Musgraves, the way she takes the time to make my dog feel 100% comfortable before treating her is exceptional. At every other vet I've always felt like a number- get in, pay and get out. Here I feel welcomed, heard, and cared for, and know that my dog does too. We are planning to be patients here for the rest of forever!

Our daughter is in Raleigh from California for the Holidays. A day after arriving, one of her dogs began to limp excessively. Going online, our daughter was able to make an appointment for the next day.We arrived at 4:15 for a 4:30 appointment. We were greeted by Katherine, a medical technician, immediately upon reaching the reception desk. Katherine quickly took some basic information and took us to an exam room. Once in the room, Katherine spent about 15 minutes getting a detailed history of the injury, our dog's health and a list of all our questions for the doctor. Katherine was great! Kind, no pressure, easily to speak to, and compassionate. One of the best intakes we've ever had with our animals.Katherine went to the back room to relay this information to our veterinarian for the day, DR. Sarah Trimarchi (who is new to the practice). Within just a few minutes, Dr. Trimarchi came in to perform her examination. Dr. Trimarchi was fully prepared having spoken with Katherine and having already read the notes from our dog's California file. Dr. Trimarchi was not only efficient, but she was articulate, kind and gentle with our dog. He can get tense during vet visits, but he remained calm and relaxed throughout the visit.Within a few minutes, Dr. Trimarchi suspected our dog had torn his CCL. She presented various options and guidance. We decided to opt for a more detailed sedated x-ray series and examination. The office scheduled the testing for the very next morning.... first appointment. The entire office was wonderful. Again, they made our dog very comfortable and relaxed. As promised, Dr. Trimarchi called as soon as our dog was out of sedation and as soon as she had an accurate diagnosis... yes a torn CCL. Dr. Trimarchi spent 20 minutes on the phone with us regarding the diagnosis, how she reached her conclusion, impact of the tear and each available option and the benefit/cons of each. She answered all our questions without making us feel rushed or foolish in any way. Knowing our dog was a California resident, she tailored her treatment accordingly and worked to help us find and schedule a surgeon in California.... looking up appropriate facilities in California, getting the medical records to them quickly and the like. She also prescribed medications and a treatment plan for here in NC so our daughter could remain for the Holidays and so the dog could be comfortable and safe during the visit.A long detail of our experience with VCA Durant Road, but this was to show how truly exceptional they are. The very best care, without unnecessary testing or pressure and all with multiple options suggested and guidance on each. They made us feel like they really care and not just like a means to make money. We really enjoyed our visit with this veterinarian and her staff. Obviously, we had hoped for a better diagnosis, but we know we received the best possible care in the nicest way!! They are good people and good medical experts and I highly recommend this team!!
